Woodford and Franklin will come out of the 41st but neither will be a factor in the regional tournament. Woodford County, outside of Boggess (who is all region no doubt), has major ball handling issues. Franklin County, from what I gather, has some internal issues and that group has yet to have a quality win. Currently Catholic is the #4 seed in the district. It could be possible, although doubtful, that Catholic could hook up with Lafayette in the district semis. That would be outstanding!

Really no surprise here. Neither team shoots the ball real well and I assume Bryan Station zoned Henry Clay. I predict Bryan Station will beat them come district tournament time. IMO I do not believe either will beat Scott County...nor will anyone else in the 11th region.

Hard to make a comment on seeing an incident without knowing what happens in practice and how many times that has been addressed. If kids (and parents) would focus on the following, as I was told...listen to the message, not the volume. If the kid realized his wrong after the fact, then there is no issue....which it seems he did.

No upset. Cordia is really not very good. Without Cunningham they are average at best.

Lots of self hype from LCA but not much to show for it yet. I'm still surprised that not only Tates Creek beat them but did so handily.

IMO...every party involved is better off. Bryan Station seems to be tailing off each year. They have a big school and getting the Charlotte Court kids that used to go to PLD. They are very guard oriented and can't shoot. I just don't seem them being a player in the 11th but always can upset Henry Clay in the district tournament, if they meet, because of the rivalry. I expect them to improve but just not sure how much.

Tisdale is getting better and better but he will in no way exceed Jordan Green's numbers. Green was in foul trouble from the 2nd quarter on. At one point Bryan Station was 1-21 from the 3...finished 3-29 from 3.

Should we expect anything less with all that has gone on there? Only one ball for lots of really good players on top of the other stuff.

Buying awful high on the Generals. One thing is for sure...they will NOT win the region unless they're guard play improves tremendously and find some other scorers besides Jackson. IMO, people are underestimating what they lost to graduation last year. I'll take Scott County and Daniel Brown as COY. They will be tough to handle late and will win 20 + again even with their transfer kids leaving. 41-Franklin/Woodford 42-Scott Co/Henry Clay 43-Catholic/Lafayette 44-Central/Southern POY = Jordan Green

Really my point was neither. The fact that a coach, which happens to be Coach Rhodes, shows up to a school that hasn't won anything in at least a decade and now players from all over show up. That is the issue. Any way you cut it there is nothing about it that's right but this is the world we live in.

We will agree to disagree. Not everyone wants to be a college coach. I didn't criticize at all...merely stated facts. Not sure what put you in attack mode but I didn't compare anything except being as assistant coach to being a head coach. Lastly, I'm not bashing Cordia. It is obvious what is going on and yes, I have proof. However, it is not my place to share that info nor do I care for the unwanted attention. If they do what they do, or any other school, and get away with it, then those schools will continue to do what they do. As I previously mentioned, we will agree to disagree.

Being a head coach, on any level, is far different than being an assistant coach. There is much more to deal with and the HC is the one who has to answer for the program, good and bad. It makes no difference where you coach...HC experience is invaluable. Plenty of coaches have coached at "big time" schools that flame out as head coaches. He might not be one of them but my whole point wasn't focused on his college coaching experience or how it compares to high school. It is the fact he has ZERO hc experience but obviously his connections, well, it is pretty obvious.

Scott County has a major issue at PG. Rumor has it that Gilbert will play that role. That will be interesting to see how that plays out. That is not his natural position and might take away some of his offense. Teddy Ware is a spot shooter and not much else. If Gilbert struggles to score, Scott County will struggle to score.

Meant head coaching experience.

This may have been mentioned, but if not...heads should be turning. No slam on Cordia but facts are facts. In the past 10 years, they have a record of 129-144 (one 20 win season) with ZERO district titles and ONE region victory (last year). A new coach, who has ZERO coaching experience, shows up and kids are now coming into the school, which the facts tells us, hasn't been overly successful the past decade, left and right. There are other things that could be mentioned but I will not do so...not my place...but are factual to the extent Cordia has gone and probably will continue to go to attract players.

Should be solid. Is point guard play consistent enough to get them over the hump and can they knock down perimeter shots? As always a very tough district.

It's a great "old school" gym.
