One of the nations top high school teams, Huntington Prep, will take on Ezell Harding Christian from Antioch, TN., Sunday, November 17th at 2pm. Tickets are only $5 at the door.

 

Huntington Prep has several D1 commits including Josh Perkins - Gonzaga, Jalen Lindsey - Providence, Angel Delgado - Seton Hall, Levi Cook - West Virginia, as well as 5 star former U of L commit Jaquan Lyle and two juniors Montaque Gill Caesar and Thomas Bryant, who are being recruited by UK and U of L. Also the game will see sophomore Miles Bridges who is being recruited by UK, Ohio State, and Michigan State.

 

Ezell-Harding is a fixture in the Tennessee State Tournament and is coached by former Vandy Player Shan Foster.

If you're in Eastern Kentucky, Huntington Prep plays at Perry Central Saturday night at 9:00 p.m. Also, Perry Central vs. 22 FT Academy at 5:00 and Cordia vs. Thomas Nelson at 7:00.

It's a great "old school" gym.

 

Agree with that for sure...I just didn't think it would hold 2,500 as Norm stated. Have to admit, it's been a while since I've been there, but my middle school kids play there this year.

Great display of D1 talent yesterday as Huntington Prep wins 133-56. If you weren't there, you should have been. How many high school games feature 27 dunks. Can't wait till next year, looks like there could be a game against Huntington Prep and Oak Hill.

I was there...pretty impressive. I wish the competition they were playing against would have been better, but from a pure talent standpoint, those top 7 or 8 HP kids are no joke.

Ezell had some good players on that squad just way overshadowed by talent on the other side.The point guard could have easily played for HP. It just goes to show how good these kids can be when they play hard and as a team. The HP staff certainly gets that out of them.
