paNDA Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Help me understand why these two teams come to Frankfort?
NormanDale Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 They have kids being recruited by both UK and UL, what better location than in between the two. Ultimately, they were asked and accepted.

BigVMan23 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Will this be at the convention center or actually at Frankfort High's gym? That gym isn't very big.
NormanDale Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 The game is at Frankfort High and it seats 2500+.
Wireman Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 If you're in Eastern Kentucky, Huntington Prep plays at Perry Central Saturday night at 9:00 p.m. Also, Perry Central vs. 22 FT Academy at 5:00 and Cordia vs. Thomas Nelson at 7:00.
BigVMan23 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 It's a great "old school" gym. Agree with that for sure...I just didn't think it would hold 2,500 as Norm stated. Have to admit, it's been a while since I've been there, but my middle school kids play there this year.
NormanDale Posted November 18, 2013 Author Posted November 18, 2013 Great display of D1 talent yesterday as Huntington Prep wins 133-56. If you weren't there, you should have been. How many high school games feature 27 dunks. Can't wait till next year, looks like there could be a game against Huntington Prep and Oak Hill.
BigVMan23 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I was there...pretty impressive. I wish the competition they were playing against would have been better, but from a pure talent standpoint, those top 7 or 8 HP kids are no joke.

NormanDale Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 Ezell had some good players on that squad just way overshadowed by talent on the other side. The point guard could have easily played for HP. It just goes to show how good these kids can be when they play hard and as a team. The HP staff certainly gets that out of them.
