Congrats to Coach Kendall and the Breds on the win!

Sounds almost like since "lowly" Harrison County defeated Scott, The Eagles must be "in for a long year".

I am sure Scott has suffered from graduation losses which make them not as strong as they have been in the past several years, but consider the following:

1. Coach Carr is at the helm of the Eagles ship, and is still considered one of the best coaches around.

2. Harrison County is not exactly chopped liver this year. In their two previous games they lost to Oldham Co. in overtime, on the road, by 2 pts. and lost to defending State Champ Madison Central by 5, in a game they led most of the way.

3. Coach Kendall, when an assistant coach, began a youth program 9 years ago, or so, that has begun reaping rewards all these years later. His hard work is paying off.

4. Harrison County's basketball tradition takes a back seat to few teams in the state. They have won 9 Regional titles in their history, including 3 in the 1990s.

Give credit where credit is due. It's not the end of the world when a "down state" team defeats a northern Kentucky team.

Looks like Jenkins has done well in filling Scott Kendall's shoes. Trenton Thompson with another good game as well.

Looks like Blake Schneider almost had a triple-double.... That's the one thing Scott can take away from this game.

^ He seems to be playing pretty well thus far.

He fouled out with a few minutes left in the game. I think he has made his case on why he should be ranked top ten in the region.

Why? Because they lost a game the second week of December to a team who almost beat Madison Central?

How many rebounds and or blocks/steals or assists did he have?

Can't wait to see him in action.

OK, Hickory and Sportfan you guys need to chat. One says this game doesn't mean a lot this early in the season to determine if Scott is in for a long season and the other says 28 points in this game qualifies a player to be ranked in the top 10. Just kidding. Scott will be fine (unless they play Simon Kenton) and Schnieder is on the radar.

Clark County almost beat Madison too. They are defending State Champs but they don't have near as much talent as they did last year.
