  1. No chance Brady is retiring. Personally I would love if he went to coach Giants. Gets BB out of AFC and I would love to see what he can do without Brady and vice versa. He went 11-5 with Matt Cassel one year. I think Brady is great, I think BB is greatest ever.
  2. What is Jags salary cap like? This is a really good team that can go very deep but they need something at QB. Can they afford to go after Cousins or even Brees or will they go after one in draft? I know they spent a lot on free agents this past offseason.
  3. Maybe Bills fans should have paid for Dalton. He’s no stud but Taylor is awful. Buffalo O is inept. Jags D is good for sure but Shady is bills only weapon
  4. Told a friend the other day that if they would have replaced Marvin with a big-name I would have been more than OK with it. Was pretty certain that wasn’t happening. I said if they hired a relative no name or a coach not well thought of or more likely, from inside the organization, I think they would have gotten worse the next few years because Mike would’ve stayed way too involved. I think you make some great points
  5. I hope beyond hope they get a new O line coach. Any chance Haslett gets D coordinator job if PG is gone like ESPN is reporting?
  6. My first NKU game. Took wife and kids. What a great facility and the people working couldn’t have been any nicer. As for game, a previous poster said UIC was too talented to lose like that and I’ve never seen them but they looked awful. They had trouble even dribbling sometimes. NKU I take it is a team that lives and dies by the 3? They shoot a lot of them and tonight they were way on. I’ll be back. Great time.
  7. Think this topic went WAY off target. Question wasn’t if the Beatles were influential, it was to list your favorite non Beatles songs by the artists.
  8. X doesn’t play great D against small quick guards but their free throws, experience and depth makes me think they are a legit final four team. Time will tell.
  9. Not a huge fan of any of their solo stuff and a much bigger fan of John’s Beatle stuff than Paul’s but here goes: Ringo- Photograph John - Starting Over Paul - Junior’s Farm or Uncle Albert George - What Is Life Grew up on Beatles and still love listening to them, especially White Album, Abbey and Sgt Pepper. Best band ever- not for me but their influence should never be doubted.
  10. I don’t have opportunity see many games of CCH, obviously none in Florida, but it seems to me that CJ goes out of games a lot with blood just from earlier games I’ve read about on BGP. Does he have a target on him from other teams or am I off base?
  11. Is MP upset because of how Harrison acted the entire year or because, as a free agent, he signed with the team that stands in their way of going to Super Bowl? Seriously asking and trying to decipher MP’s comments.
  12. If you see one or less pitches to hit in an at bat... no one is letting Votto beat them late in game. Only a handful will go after him late in game and they are throwing 100 +.
  13. Highlands keeps reloading with pitchers like CCH did in 90’s, early 2000’s. Makes it hard for other teams to compete
  14. Old school - Little Drummer Boy Newer- All I Want For Christmas Is You by Vince Vance and the Valiants. Not the Mariah Carey version!!
  15. Because if you’ve watched UK the last 6 or 7 years it’s been so obvious they don’t care about D or winning. Good point! Every year I read UK fans talk about recruiting on this site. Talk of this recruit and that recruit. We have X number of McD’s all Americans coming. News flash. Many aren’t coming if previous years guys aren’t leaving. You want guys who stick around, recruit 3 and 4 star recruits. Cal could have run for gov. 4 years ago. Now he’s worse than Tubby and BG. Be careful... you’re next coach may take you back to those days. Have fun with that.
  16. I’ll attempt to answer. I know AJ fairly well. School is extremely important to him. He is not placing his eggs in one basket called the NFL. He has plans and unlike many at his age, he’s looking ahead. He also has a cousin who was all everything in baseball for Cch and UK. That has translated into a pro career but not a hugely successful one ( by MLB standards, not mine ). He has seen how hard it is to play professionally and just how good you have to be to make it. I think Miami is perfect for him. I wish him success there and if he goes further, great. If not he will be just fine with his education from a very above average university.
  17. I honestly got sense that when that was announced at end of Raw last night, the ladies had no idea it was coming.
  18. Well said. This isn’t the Bengals of the 90’s and guess who had something- a lot, to do with it- Marvin. They had their window and didn’t push it open. Time for a change but don’t say they didn’t try. This team no longer is laughingstock of NFL. That distinction belongs up north. Hopefully next coach can do more with talent than Marvin did and can bring home a trophy. I can dream!
  19. It literally took me 3 minutes to quit laughing on this response. Classic. Well done. Sometimes the truth is so obvious!!
  20. I saw them 3 years ago. Music is awesome but not sure some or all of it is played live. If you like light shows, you’ll really love it. If you don’t, bring shades. First half was a story kind of with some of music being similar to what you hear on radio and some being slower or solos by very talented singers. 2nd half was more of a rock show.
  21. I think the game being played the way it was caused two of the best receivers in football to drop passes they normally wouldn’t and LaFell dropped a huge pass in the second half as well and you could see him turning his head before he caught it. Also think that on Bell’s touchdown pass, Evans was afraid to hit him for fear of getting a personal foul thinking he was stepping out of bounds A couple of things I did enjoy last night as a football fan since everything has dwelled on the negative as it should have. Bell is a stud and I love watching him run. Bernard is one tough hombre and the offensive line may actually be getting better for the Bengals. Lastly the officiating was awful both ways and the NFL should not put this game in prime time for a while.
  22. For sure. We thought about leaving at half time to go to FT Pub but stuck around thank goodness. Made the pub that much better later on!! I remember turning to my buddy in north end zone on Birds first series in 2nd half and asking why they were trying to throw. Glad they did. Would have loved being fly on wall for that halftime talk by Coach Ray.
