WWE Clash Of Champions
dpeevh replied to Randy Parker's topic in Boxing / Mixed Martial Arts / Professional Wrestling
Do you ever see a day where mon/tues go to wwe network or will they stay on a cable channel, etc. for “mainstream” -
15 years ago I would have recommended Bristol but now I would say Martinsville or Talladega. You’ll be happy you did.

WWE Clash Of Champions

Assuming the rest is merchandise, ppv’s and house shows? Amongst other things -
I can say this with no remorse. There is no one I have loathed at ESPN more than him. The guy loved the sound of his own voice more than anyone ever. He did nothing as a coach to warrant being on so many shows except that he’s incredibly good at flapping his jaws. If he’s truly gone to ASU, I say good for all other PAC 10 schools and myself as a listener to ESPN radio. Sorry for ASU fans. It won’t work.

That answers my question. Thanks. Surprised me that Tuesday is their #2 rated show -
When he sang “from the halls of montezuma” with the bucket on his head, I still laugh. Last episode of his from Andy and served as a lead in to Gomer. If you watch the actors next to him, they can’t hide their laughter. RIP. As some have said, not many of this show are left and it’s sad.

I rarely watch Smackdown and looking at this card, I see why. How are ratings for Tuesday’s? Can they keep up having two shows? Asking those who watch more than I. -
Smackdown Live Nov. 28th

If so, cool. Will say to all Cena detractors. He does it IN EVERY CITY and doesn’t let cameras in unless WWE promoting it. -
The Bengals D has done a decent job on Ben and company over the years. Problem has been the O. Steelers little banged up in secondary, hoping Andrew has a little time to throw cause GB proved there’s plays to be had right now against them. Thinking Pitt wins game but something tells me that Bengals have had enough. Hope my hunch is right. VB step up and lead without losing it. Same with Pac.

50 Years Of Covington Catholic Football
dpeevh replied to Colonels_Wear_Blue's topic in KY Football (High School)
What a magical time. I talked to Coach Ray recently about his first title and that team. Told me they were limited on O but a bunch of blue collars. He said the D was big- for the time-, fast, athletic and most importantly, the meanest bunch he ever coached. His words. I know that was just a fun time. Back then you just hoped they’d win one. Then they won a bunch and it was expected and expectations got stupid. The 06 team brought a little of that magic back and this team has brought all of it back, if they win it. Good luck to all the players, coaches and fans of Cch. -
I think if Bama plays Auburn on a neutral field, I would put my money on Bama. I’m not saying Auburn is bad, far from it. They are very good.
-
No problem with Oklahoma or Clemson and both very well could beat Alabama and would maybe be favorites. OSU got smoked at home and on road, Miami just doesn’t pass the eye test. Wisconsin is a nice team but it seems whenever they play a powerhouse outside of Big 10, they get exposed. On a neutral field, think Bama is better than Auburn and Georgia. Scary thing is this isn’t even one of their better teams last 6 years.
-
Miami loses to Pitt, OSU loses to Iowa and Alabama loses to Auburn all on road. If first two win next game, they’re in playoff. Anyone doubt if Bama plays either , who wins? I don’t. Bama is still best team.

If you had asked me when he died, I’d have said 10 years ago. Amazing how time flys

Best game of the year for VB?
-
It’s a tough business. You’re on the road constantly which leads to an unhealthy lifestyle. One minute you’re the greatest thing since sliced bread, the next minute you’re a jobber. Some put their profession ahead of everything including their family and their health. Many chase dreams at their own expense. And they all have one thing in common. They chose to do it
-
I know there are those who argue that you have to be on a contender but I say this, how many games would Miami or Reds win without these guys? Wasn’t Votto’s fault that 4/5 of their starting pitching was out for part or all of year or that management didn’t do its job.

Someone actually had Stanton 6th. Joke.

Unlikely combination, but it works?

Can’t do it LB. I just told my wife about month ago that this was my least favorite song of all time. Even worse than Love Shack - barely. -

AJ is great but just like the NFL there are different eras. Paul Darpel was an awesome high school quarterback. They’ve also had Blesser, David Wilson and Grogan. And while not a great quarterback members of the first state team will tell you Bieger was an incredible leader -
I think it was Flair’s book where I read that he, Dusty, Andre and one other were driving to the next town which was like 2-3 hours away. Stopped at a gas station. Andre came out with bottle of wine and case of beer. Flair asked him to hand a beer over. Andre told him that he needed to get his own!!
