Zach Patterson is his name I believe but that would not have made a difference. Trinity is far superior to Elizabethtown.

Apparently the University of Findlay likes John Hardin as Josh Miller becomes the third player to sign with them.

CJ Hill and Justin Carter from John Hardin are both going to the University of Findlay.

I know they have scrimmaged the last two years so I assumed they would do the same next year.

Not in any particular order, I believe they play the following teams: South Warren Meade Co. PRP Christian Co. Central Hardin and I think Warren Central (not sure though) Their district is weak and they should sweep through it with no problem.

See last year. Should be the same type year. Tough early schedule will mean some early losses but come district and playoff time they should be primed for a run at the title. Small and not overly talented senior class but next year's Sophomores and Juniors will be loaded and experienced.

Don't go to any games where 5th region referees are involved in then. The athletic, aggressive teams are punished by the zebras. The thing that gets me is that in many games, the first half is officiated very well with few fouls called. Then in the second half, they go overboard and it's double bonus time late in the third or early in the fourth quarter. Drives me nuts. This being said, if they are going to call it close, be consistent.

Matt Miller (Junior) from John Hardin. Kid is a stud.

Bryan Station was a huge disappointment when I saw them have an epic meltdown against an inferior and outmatched Elizabethtown team. Once E-Town went to a 1-3-1 half court zone press, Station's guards were timid and didn't know what to do to attack it. Any team who is not as athletic as Station would be well served to play that zone defense against them.

Doesn't make a lot of sense. Did the Helton kid make it? Hated when we played against him.

I have to agree with this statement. This kid is a winner and brought a lot of intangibles to Central Hardin. I am curious though if them going to a Wing T style offense hurt him because his stats were not the same as they were last year.

You haven't seen many 5th region refs have you. Talk about calling a lot of fouls and inconsistency.

They may be. I think they are the 3rd best team behind Taylor Co. and Bardstown right now but a lot can change between now and the Region Tournament. It is a nice win for Pulaski.

North Hardin is a very young team who is still probably one year away from being a contender in the 5th Region. They will be scary good next year.

No one has mentioned anyone from Elizabethtown. I think everyone on that team is going to play D1 ball at some point.

The 5th Region belongs to Bardstown and Taylor County with everyone else in the rear view mirror. The only team I can even see challenging these two teams may be North Hardin, but they have point guard issues and that is not a good thing to lack against Bardstown or Taylor County. It's basketball and anything can happen in a district or region tournament game, but they are clearly the class in that region.

My only comment is I have seen both Male and Taylor County play Elizabethtown at E-Town and I think Male would beat Taylor County. I think Male should be in the Top 20 if Taylor is ranked.

Very interested to see John Hardin at Bardstown tonight. Matt Miller for JH has missed the last two weeks with a foot injury but has been cleared to play tonight. He is the only experienced varsity player the Bulldogs have after Elijah Smith tore his ACL in football. John is very young but are very athletic and quick and will press the entire game.

I am not sure John Hardin will be good enough next year to be ranked that high. They will still be very young and the senior class does not have a lot of talent. They will, like this year, lose some early games against some very good teams, but come playoff time they may be one of the better teams in 4A. Their district is weak so they should be the #1 seed but district 4 is absolutely loaded so it will be an interesting year to say the least.

IMO John Hardin will have a similar year in 2015 as they had this year. They will start slow and then pick up steam as the young kids get better and improve. Yes, this game will be fun to watch but it will not predict how the Bulldogs will do at the end of the year.
