My only comment is I have seen both Male and Taylor County play Elizabethtown at E-Town and I think Male would beat Taylor County. I think Male should be in the Top 20 if Taylor is ranked.

I think Holmes is too High.

I think Lincoln Co is too low and I'm not sold on Owensboro as top 5, but I can see the reasoning for both. Everything else looks at the very least reasonable.

It's still fairly early in the season. Taylor County is riding high right now with the hype they entered the season with. So far they haven't faltered. Male was/is an unknown coming into the season. Their loss to Ballard hurts them for now since it was a double digit loss. They'll have an opportunity at the Republic bank Classic to prove they are worthy. I'll be at that whole tournament so it will be good to be able to see them play in person. I think they have Fern Creek up next.

Owensboro isn't top 5 IMO. I'm actually not sold on them at top 15.

Southwestern getting beat by East Jessamine changed things up real quickly and these results from the past weekend muddied things up a lot. I still feel like after the Christmas tournaments we'll really see where teams stand.

After watching Fern Creek in person against Hopkinsville on the road I don't think there could possibly be 20 better teams in Kentucky. They actually outplayed Hopkinsville and it was a shame anyone had to lose that game.

Catholic is the only squad to crack the Top 20; and a long-time observer recently told me that this is the weakest Catholic team he's seen in a long, long time.

I completely agree.

I can't help but wonder how much these rankings will change in the next month or so. Some high quality matchups coming our way soon and some teams that were expected to be Top 20 aren't ranked and they seem to be showing why they aren't ranked. Those same teams could likely get it together in the next month and start beating ranked teams.
