Both squads coming off nice district wins. Who wins this "up close and personal" - many of these boys have played YEARS with and against each other - gridiron contest? Conner victorious in a 4th quarter stunner last year and was Cooper's only loss before the championship in 2012. Can the Jags avenge those losses or will Conner still have their number?? Can a mod add a poll please??

The Jags have their strengths and believe it or not, would be even better on D if one lineman, one LB and one DB were playing instead of injured. I think our offense is performing as well as they can with the size/speed we have. We can be a litte too one-dimensional at times. I believe (*hope*) both Cooper and Scott can beat Conner, S Oldham and Grant Co. this year so I'm sure we'll meet your Eagles again soon enough!

I stayed out of the slightly insane prediction thread all week, because I couldn't say what Scott was capable of against another 5A team and Cooper was just hit by a freight train last week. At the 10:29 mark in the first quarter, I thought we were in for a barn-burner - Jags TD off the first play from scrimmage and Eagles answer likewise after 2 or 3 snaps - WOW!! Then the Jags scored again quickly and their D stepped up nicely against the Eagles heralded run game. Cooper's D is smallish and not terribly quick, but pretty disruptive and they move to the ball like a swarm of bees or something. I think Prickett was a true baller last night - passes on target, nice runs and scrambles - he just looked comfortable and competent and more confident. TCA had better blocking up the middle than in weeks past. Cooper spread the ball out well and ran a good mix of run/pass with success. It was a good win for the Jags, much needed. Hope both teams finish strong this season with no more injuries!!

And people said I was crazy when I said Campbell Co. will challenge SK. Any converts?

LMHS rushing 13 yds ?? In the GAME? Ouch! Kudos to NCC for scheduling, preparing for district play by taking on all challenges. I understand Turner would LOVE to do that but can't get anyone to play the Juggs. Is that a function of Lloyd historically not being a contender or the gate being too low or ???
