I did not see them last night, but I did see them at the King of Bluegrass. I will say they look a lot better when they have 3 guards on the floor and only one of the big kids. I assume that's what they did last night because of Fern Creek's speed?

Why would you want to see that match up? CVH is a nice player but Goodin would physically dominate him.

I'm sure they struggled with the athleticism of Waggener. But ultimately that's probably a good comparison of a top tier 12th region team to an upper mid 7th region team.

All teams travel a lot this time of year. That's not an excuse. Maybe they overlooked MC a little? KCC's schedule hasn't exactly been loaded. Don't be surprised if they get "tested" like this by a few more teams this year.

It's some goofy formula where you get points for playing KY teams. Trinity has played a national schedule for the most part. Same thing happened to Ballard last year.

I believe the entire team is joining the Travelers this year.

They start multiple freshman, as someone on this board points out in every single post about Fern Creek. If you pay attention to AAU, their freshman all played for the Speice Gators which was one of the best teams in the country. They'll be fun to watch develop for the next 4 years.

It was a great game. Great win for the Titans.

Braxton Beverly would be my starting point guard. It's not even close. Others are touted on their upside. That kid is ready. Watched Goodin at the King of the Bluegrass. I see why he gets the accolades that he does. But he has a long way to go if he's going to be a point guard.

Losing to teams they shouldn't lose to. And only scoring 39 points while doing it. Scraping by teams they should beat handily. Looks to be a long year for the Bullitt East fans.

That is crazy to see. I looked at their schedule and they haven't even been competitive in a game. Sad.

Pretty big surprise there. What's wrong with Bullitt East this year? They looked great at the King of the Bluegrass, but now they have losses to Butler, and a blowout by Central.

The ceiling is much lower for a 17 year old soph than it would be for someone the right age.

That team must be terrible. Casey County doesn't exactly strike fear into many teams.

Eastern has benefited from a really weak schedule to this point. They've only had one close game, an OT win against Henry Clay. Other than that, the schedule is Moore, Simon Kenton, Ashland Blazer, Shawnee, KCD. They beat Oldham County. Another team that's played a questionable schedule. Looking forward to watching teams start separating themselves from the pack.

Collins played last year. Drove up for a couple of games. Was a nice tourney.

I don't disagree. Bacon had a great game when I saw them. Both of the bigs they have would start at any school. I just think they struggle when they play together. At least they did in the games I saw.

I don't know that I would say that. But watching them at the KOB, they are definitely better when they have 3 guards on the floor. Against South Shore from Brooklyn they were most effective with Rakes, Sharpe and Osbourne on the floor. Those 3 made the press of South Shore completely ineffective.

After the KOB, I'm really sold that Doss and Bullitt East number 1 and 2. Bullitt East won games a variety of different ways. They're just tough and know how to win. Doss has been really exciting to watch. Coach Williams has completely changed the culture there. They're playing hard, and playing together. 6th region tournament will be a hot ticket.
