Final

Wow.

#revengegame

Crazy. High school basketball is crazy. It's crazy.

Who saw this coming?!

Wow! 42 point swing in the score from the game they played 11 days ago in the Traditional Bank Classic in Lexington.

Just got the updated score off of the scoreboard.

Was anyone there? I'd love to know what happened in this one and why it was so different from the last game.

Coach Bibby can beat any team, with any team. He's proven it over and over again.

Yes, Bibby has a system that if he has the right kids and buy in does not require greatness out of their players. He is very structured and his team plays very hard. Great Coach.

Sorry, my bad on the score

No biggie. That was the score being reported until it was corrected this morning.

As I said in a previous post, it was more of a perfect storm for manual two weeks ago. Central also had a key football player play his first game and gave some key minutes that would've limited a lesser player in the first game. Also, central's big man is up to about 80-85% now and getting healthier by the week. Had three huge blocks, a couple of steals, & a few deflections in about 12-15 mins, and his athleticism is unmatched by most in the state. The scary part is, they still have a starting senior guard that's been out with a knee injury since the day after their waggener win. He'll probably come back in limited action in the l I t next week.

I agree. He has talent this year too. Will be scary come March.

The thing about Coach Bibby is that he is not a good fit for every player that comes through his gym door. Some may suggest he even keeps the cuffs on some kids or is a bit too controlling. To his credit he does not give some kids free reigns while others must comply. He treats them all the same. Years back when he was at Eastern, he had Rondo until he went to Prep School and they remain close to this very day.

Big fan of what Coach Bibby can do with the right guys.

Loved the team he had three years ago and I know I'm a broken record on this, but if D'Angelo Russell had stayed at Central instead of going to Florida, that team could easily have been able to compete with Ballard and Trinity in the Seventh.
