A contract?? What a joke. I am not sure that will help. If I were the coach I too would be frustrated by in season trips, but I don't think much of the contract idea. JMO.

I understand abt not running certain plays, but you must not have seen the Ryle/Colerain game. I did not say SK wouldn't beat Ryle I am saying you'd better hope so...Good luck.

Highlands has yearly contract with Croswell, Distance doesn't matter. Team will travel by charter to all away games.

I know you're excited abt the 5-0 start, but relax...SK beat a team by 8 that Campbell Co. Beat 42-16 & the Camels are a district foe. I am impressed with the 5-0 start, but it is a long season. Not sure you should be dishing out this much crow just yet. Fans are allowed to vote for the opponent on these polls right? With all the jabs you take at Ryle you'd better hope SK wins. Ryle got a nice win over St. Francis DeSales (OH) last night. I am not a Ryle fan so I didn't see the game, but I did watch them play an excellent Colerain team on T.V. & I saw Ryle do some good things. Not trying to rain on your parade, but Karma has a way of rearing it's ugly head...

Kendall is out for sure. I believe he was told 4 wks. on a lower leg fracture. This is week 2. Not sure abt Hergott (possible concussion).

Orders are submitted early & if they decide not to play then they do not pay. Just speculating as to part of the reason for the dead line requirement.

Most decisions are based on $. Coach Flynn was also probably tired of ordering shoes/gear for guys & then they decide not to play & the program eats the cost. I heard 23 or so at the mtg.

Also, Mason Co. Was a late add to the Birds schedule as Mason H.S. in OH. was originally on the schedule & for whatever reason canceled. Give credit to the Royals for adding Highlands in the summer of '11.

Outside of Schafer there are not many scoring options for Highlands. She may have to take a record number of shots.

No, just play the game & whatever happens, happens. I highly doubt coaching staffs from either team would "run up" the score on the other with malicious intent. Furthermore, if any student-athlete from either side chooses one school over the other b/c of the outcome of 1 game then chances are they are not worth it anyway. Character in question so to speak...
