The collision down the first base line looked bad, but unintentional IMO. The pop fly off the end of the bat led the NCC first baseman into the running path of the hustling HHS catcher. The first baseman caught the ball just before collision occurred.

I love hearing that kids are rejoining the team! Bradford is a tough kid and Kreeger can definitely help out at several positions.

Not sure now. Schedule has changed several times. Ugh!

Large School final on Feb. 14

There was confusion on the final CCH timeout because the officiating crew did not clearly signal that CCH called the T.O. therefore the press box thought it was an official timeout. They pretty much botched 2 other stoppages during the game, one favoring each team.

I am fairly confident that each school chose which division (large school or small school) they wanted to play in. [[/u]

In 1989 Highlands won both games. Reg season - 19-0 in Park Hills Playoffs - 22-6 in Ft. Thomas

I am rooting for the Colonels in this one and I think they come back with a narrow win.

Johnson Central will be tested by CCH, if healthy enough... I think JC would beat Collins if they get out of Ft. Thomas and Boyle Co. With wins.

Great game to watch, both teams made plays and both teams made mistakes. Fumble recovered for a TD hurt the most. Highlands D played their best game of the season IMO. Wrobleski put some scary hits on Elder tonight. Bardo makes plays on D every week. Safety that was not called was a shame. Initial contact was made in the end zone and then ball carrier was knocked down sideways. Elder pep band was entertaining. Autenreib for Elder was on the ball tonite.
