Toughest Schedule

Featured Replies

Now that we are down to the final 24 teams... Who has played the toughest schedule this year of all the teams in the state not just the ones who are left?

I don't think it's ultimately the toughest, but I believe there's a strong chance that Warren Central will have played three state champions (Bowling Green & Highlands are locks, DeSales is now highest rated team left). Played Owensboro as well which is in the state semis.

I'd have to say Male. Playing and beating Trinity and St. X twice each (4 times total) in the same season is pretty impressive. Also have 3 TD+ wins against two of the other remaining 6A semi-finalists. Complete schedule below.

Considering their schedule of out of state teams played, and playing in the SUPER DISTRICT, Trinity played the toughest schedule. Entering tonight, 6 of their opponents are still alive in their respected states playoffs. MOELLER and COLERAIN are playing each other. Not sure anybody else in the state can boast that.

Unfortunately, it may have been too tough for this year's team.

Trinity and it's not close

Agreed. The question should be who had the second toughest schedule in the state.

C'mon Trinity no question.

Agreed I don't see how anyone could say otherwise as far as competition goes. Now in terms of playing up and playing some teams that are supposed to be bigger/better there could be some teams in 1A or 2A that had some tough schedules but if you're talking about over all toughest it was easily Trinity this year just as it is in most years.

Bowling Green did have some tough teams on their schedule but their district games also took away from that(which they can't help).

I have looked and would have to say non district schedule North Hardin very well could be listed as well.. Central Hardin, Scott County, Warren Central, Meade County and they scrimmaged Male... Along with playing John Hardin in district and Bullitt East.. But I would agree Trinity has the toughest

A better question would be who's played the toughest non-district schedule. Teams that play in weak districts have no choice but to do so and teams that play in tough districts have no choice either. It'd be more interesting to see who played the toughest teams by choice, rather than by necessity.
