Backspin

Here is the kicker with that, this was so blatant that you are in one of two categories: you either were an active participant or you condoned the actions, there is no I didnt know, when you have double digit athletes from out of state repeatedly you knew. I realize that the straw that broke the camels back wasnt about transfers it was something else, but everything else is related to the influx of athletes and the arrogance when it came to the rules applying. The people that want to claim to be a victim stood by and let this happen. They trusted at least one man who had proven over and over that he couldnt be trusted.

The family I am referring to started an inusrance agency in Ohio and live there now. I dont know if it is true but the agent here said they were in good hands.

I knew an insurance agent that claimed his son was the host family for Mr. Jennings.

I understand what you are saying. I just know that this is gonna be the defense of those that drink the kool aide and this defense no matter who or what is a pet peeve of mine.

I really dont give a rats (insert word here) either but I don't let my children justify things with so and so is worse. That is chicken (insert another word here) If you choose to break the rules and you get caught dont start that crap about someone else. Be a man and take responsibility for what you did. I realize you dont care what happens but that struck a nerve with me and the way this world wants to view things and I dont care to speak my mind.

If they falsified addresses then they were also receiving money from the state which wasnt due them.

While I haven't seen the email that was referred to I have been privied to the content by a reliable source. It was amusicking. Oops was that a typo? Maybe. As I watched this thing take place in Westwood it ocurred to me that this is exactly what Miami University was like in the Jimmy Johnson era. I am afraid that what was done may completely ruin and possibly close a school for nothing more than personal gain. Its time some folks realize the truth and stop drinking the Kool Aid. I have freinds whose children attend Fairview schools and dont play football and these people will either skip church on Sunday or not talk to anyone our of embarrasment. If you dont think this has huge ripple effects in the community think again.

Those were typo's

They could use some 5th year seniors thats for sure. Wait, thats college rules my bad.

Dont know if this will make you feel any better but he picked Ashland to go 5-5 and they have 6 wins with two games remaining. What about that Snyder guy?

Both teams want to make a statement tonight. Should be a hard fought game. I hope both teams emerge healthy and better prepared for the rest of the season. For Ashland to win, one or two of the younger kids will have to become household names. There are a few that have that potential. If they choose tonight to stake that claim, Ashland will win. If Ashland has to rely on one player, no matter how gifted he may be, they will lose.

Congratulations to Jason Smith, I have had the privilege of meeting this young man and I think he is top shelf.

Was in the paper. My guess is he was asked how would he fill all the holes left after graduation.

Don't have to ask myself, I know the way to Soldier.

Why West Carter dropped them or why there is no Ashland / Fairview game week 0?

I find it interesting that Ashland is traveling to Newport in week 0, when Fairview was needing a game in week 0 becasue West Carter dropped the Fairview game.

I think the more reps with the new coach, new offense, and new players the better off they will be. Does this make them a contender? Who knows.

Dont think that a team with a new coach and new offense and several young players can judge a season by the first game on the road. I believe if this team makes a run at the district or more it will depend on the maturing of the young players over the course of the season. I expect them to take a few lumps early but play a lot better by the end of the season.

Are you saying a righty vs righty is more advantageous with a 2-2 count rather than at the beginning of the ab?

Last night I saw a h.s. coach make a pitching change with a 3-0 count on the batter. I also heard Coach Henderson made a pitching change last night with a 2-2 count on the batter. Outside of injury, what would be the advantage gained for making a mid count pitching change

Suprised to see Bath as the favorite in the 16th. How did you determine the favorite?

My son received feedback from a school for a year and what they were telling the high school coaches wasn't how it turned out. I believe they has the feeling he was a big lean and offered him a preferred with the scholarship carrot dangled down the road. He was offered immediately by another school and after a couple I days he said dad those guys want me and not who flirted with him. He said I want to go where I am wanted and signed with the school that offered. I believe he was played

Partial, but significant investment in his future.

I am hearing that OBryan is gonna be a Tiger

Ashland has a couple of weaknesses that are starting to get exposed. They don't guard or rebound well and their schemes are stale They have some kids that can score but they don't give the same effort on the other end and opponents have studied the same scouting report for several years. Maybe they don't have the personal to play the same way they did a couple of years ago.
