Game was never really close. I believe Boyd led by 28 at some point during the 3rd quarter.

Two players in the top 5, and Boyd County still can't beat Ashland. Perhaps the Lions were a bit overrated in the BGP preview.

Do you know how long it's been since Boyd County has been any good? I don't know why the preview writers thought they would all of a sudden be good this year.

They lost at home to an Ashland team that lost 4 seniors, and had only 2 guys who play significant minutes coming back. Meanwhile Boyd County supposdedly had their best team in years, and two of the top players in the region coming back. I think it's save to assume they were overrated. You seemed offended by my post. If you wrote the preview, it's not personal.

So UK was overrated, but we can't say Boyd County was overrated. Makes perfect sense.

 

That's what I don't get. What was the reason? They've been terrible for years.

 

And this is why I'm careful not to rag on opponents. The crow is usually easier to eat with a bigger mouth.
