I agree that I would move Cooper and Conner above Franklin County but otherwise looks OK to me.

I have seen both Conner and Cooper play and they are both very good teams. There upcoming match up should be one of the best games in NKY this year. However, I do not believe either team is the best in NKY. At this point, I would have to go with Highlands as #1. Cov Cath, Cooper and Conner would be 2-4 at this point in the season and I am not sure I can accurately put them in order. I think there are good arguments for all 3 of those teams to be #2. The next several weeks may seperate them out a little bit.

I spoke with one of the Beechwood players last evening and was told that Nussbaum had surgery yesterday and they expect him to be out 3-4 weeks.

Cooper dominated both sides of the ball early. I guess Ryle's coaching staff did not watch the film from last week when Aaron Morgan returned 2 kickoffs because they allowed him to return the opening kickoff. From there, Cooper kept pouring it on. Collins and Morris played well.

I have a feeling this will be a very close football game. Cooper's success as usual will depend on the combination of AJ Collins and Tyler Morris. My concern would be how there defensive line responds to the much larger offensive line of Ryle. Last week against New Cath, the defensive line looked good but they were a much smaller group then thay are going to see this week.

New Cath had a lot of trouble with center-quarterback exchange early. They also fumbled a lot of handoffs before there was any contact. These are definitely things that can be fixed. I don't have an exact count but I would bet New Cath had at least 5 turnovers.

Justice started out with the Blackhawks in the BCPWFL in the same backfield as Travis Elliott.

I do not know any of the details but I heard the entire coaching staff besides Jim were let go!!!

I believe the only people on her staff were her dad and her sister.

She told the girls that she would be teaching at Walton Verona but did not mention anything about coaching.

Last night , Shannon Turner notified her players that she had resigned as girls basketball coach at Cooper High School.

They need to improve defensively!!! They gave up way too many big plays and points last season. They should be able to score a lot of points offensively, but will need the defense to improve to make a deep run in the playoffs

Cooper and Conner are still playing at 5 pm at Conner.
