The kid is a pretty good player, IMO, great maybe an over-statement at this point.

I wouldn't say they "overacheived". They were ranked in the state early in the year, as well as one of the top teams in the region. When a word like over achieved is used, I wouldnt think of CCH sorry.

Boone's record isn't that impressive record wise. However, if you look at their tough schedule, IMO it prepared them for the end of the year.

ERA is a snap shot of how a pitcher is doing. However, you have to look at competition also. You have mentioned the 3 games what of the other 4? Not disputing his output this year, I watched have watched him pitch and he did well.

I don't think Eastern is ranked. Boone defeated them 3-2 last weekend. Boone has played a very tough schedule this year. Lafayette may be the best game of them all.
