Congrats to Zach and the Breds on back to back State Championships.

I believe Brossart, Holy Cross, Lloyd and Newport are all AA in football and A in hoops. Walton Verona is the same and I believe there are many others as well. I believe due to the fact that football has 6 classes and those in A and AA in football meet the requirements for A in hoops.

Understood. However if I understand the rule correctly no high school coach at any level can coach during this time, even if it is a parent that helps out with the high school team in any way. I believe some baseball/softball teams choose not to play during this time or they have an assistant or try to find a parent to coach that is not associated or helps out with a high school team. Seems like it just makes things a little more difficult to be a coach.

Ff I couldn't agree more. Baseball and softball are affected more than any other sports. There are really only 6 or 7 weekends in the summer from June 1 to July 15 for these two sports before the high school fall sports season begins practicing. Now they are taking 3 of these weekends away from coaches. This is rediculous and makes no sense at all IMO.

Agree that Eastern should definitely be on this list and Marion County may be a little to high. We shall see. Nice to see three Northern KY teams in the top 25 in Notre Dame, Simon Kenton and Newport Catholic. I agree that ND may be a bit too high to begin the season. They only lost their best player to graduation but she was a big part of their success. SK will be really good and should be the top team in the 8th region. I can definitley see them moving up in this poll. NC should be solid again this year with plenty of depth as they have everyone returning from last season. They should be one of the top teams in the 9th region and should also move up on this list.

Nice to see three 9th region teams in the top 25. Cov Cath should probably move up a bit. Should be another very exciting year for the 9th region. I am looking forward to it. Rigth now I like NCC over Holmes. Both teams are solid and very talented. I think NCC has a little more depth than they did last season. Point guard for both very solid but I like the NCC bigs inside a little more, so for now I give the advantage to the Breds. We shall see!

Most expensive private school in NKY yet the lowest coaches salary in NKY. Seems a little odd to me. What gives? Also was told at one time that they only accept 50 kids per class. Is this true?

Don't most of your players play on travel teams? If so I would think most of them are already playing in the fall.
