HHS will undoubtedly beat Collins for the 4A title, but if Cooper beats Bowling Green for the 5A title, do they claim the title of best in NKY? Given that Bowling Green has defeated St. X this year, a Cooper win over BG would be the highest quality win of either team. Let the debate commence!

Given that participation in athletics is a privilege and not a right, exactly what leverage do you think the school board has? Coaches have the discretion to cut anybody they deem fit. Especially an 8th grader playing up on freshman ball. With this athletic administration, threats, even implied, get you sent packing quickly. More likely, something was worked out.

Did you ever see any of Randy Moss's highlights when he was in his prime? That is who Quick reminds me of. I saw him nearly catch a ball that was 11 feet of the ground!

Key Sr. graduates are Swanson, Sampson, Bowling, Gowen, Huesman, Franzen, Radke, Fredericks, Todd and Bowling. A number of kids will have the oppertunity to step up from a jv team that won 9 games. Scott County clearly exposed a lack of team speed that is absolutely necessary for SK to compete with the elite teams in 6A. This will need to be a priority in off season conditioning. In addition, I see oppertunities for improvement in Kuntz. Not once this entire year did I ever see him pass to a checkdown receiver when under pressure. He is still trying to make plays deep down field and is holding the ball too long. Sometimes, you have to take what the defense gives you. Overall. to from 2-9 to 9-4 is an unbelievable improvement. Way beyond all expectations, especially when you consider that there is no explosive skill player on this team. Marksberry should get some COY votes.

Trinity with no James Quick? You might think SC has a chance, but when HHS was able to match up with SC athleticly, they did not compete well. Trinity even w/o Quick is too talented and too seasoned.

Guess you will have to get your entertainment elsewhere. Amazing how we can be so thoroughly marginalized, and yet, attract more traffic to our threads than almost any other program. It seems you love to hate us!

Actually, our kids do read the posts here and the anti SK sentiment is becoming a problem.

uk is a fan. He is otherwise unconnected with the program. Everybody here just overreacts to him. If you have a problem with a poster, just use the ignore poster feature. I congratulated your program after our last meeting and complemented your players and coaches. Those words never seem to register though. And yes, CC was ranked and only lost to Ballard by 1 point who was also ranked.

About as motivated as Cov Cath against Conner this year or HHS against Ryle two years. Basically, week 11 is a glorified scrimmage.

Silverlake. If there was ever an emergency event in that natatorium with as many people as were there yesterday, it would be sheer panic and pandemonium. There at least needs to be an emergency exit on to the parking lot directly from the pool.

I believe the NKy HS swim community has outgrown Scott. If a Fire Marshall showed up at that event yesterday, we might not of had an event!
