A ton of outstanding football players year in year out. Who would you go with at this point?

 

1. Drew Barker - can run and pass for The Cougars and has great size.

2. Donovan McCoy- Birds MVP as he is the straw that makes that offense stir.

3. Máx Nussbaum - Mr. Everything for the Tigers.

4. Tyler Durham - kid is a beast and carried the Camels on his shoulders.

5. AJ Collins- has led his Jags to state finals. (See most underrated thread for stats)

 

Others receiving honorable mention

 

Luke Bir- great QB who had heckuva a career at CovCath. I would have him in top 5 if he could have led the Colonels past Highlands but Collins gets my vote.

 

Dylan Hayes- closing in on breaking récords at NCC. Has Breds in State Finals.

How is Cameron Fogle from Conner not on this list.

Fogle is another Mr. Do-it-all. I would probably list him in top 5 if the Cougars erre still playing. He is a great player no doubt and probably 5c but just my opinión.

I am going a different way and not naming any QB's. The QB's always get the attention and we have talked about them enough. I would like to see others name your top 5 but no QB's. Here is my list:

 

1. Cameron Fogle

2. Max Nussbaum

3. Sam Burchell

4. AJ Collins

5. Dylan Hayes

 

Others that come to mind for me are Jared Swanson, Aaron Morgan, Brady Thacker, Jonathon Scruggs and I know there are a Highlands player or two that should be here but I am drawing a blank on them.

I think we can all agree that there is a lot of very, very good football players in NKY. Lots of quality football and individuals.

Purely on the defensive side of the ball give me Seth Hope (HHS). In the playoffs he has been dominate. I have not seen one guy able to block him yet.

Zach Harris is definitely one of them and the way that Seth Hope has played in the playoffs, he is definitely one of the most athletic defensive lineman in the area.

 

Burchell is a beast and will definitely play at the next level. I heard that kid lives in the weight room literally.

The Kuntz kid can play.. Can't please everyone.

Kuntz can play but he is Top 5 next year, not this year!! However, what does it say about Conner that they have 2 players on Top 5 and cannot make it to State or Regional Final? Just stating.

I would add Jonathan Jackson to the list and near the top. EVery time he has played in NKY he had been abusive :laugh:
