Wishing all the seniors a fantastic last season of high school swimming!

Packed pool deck at Scott. Great to see so many NKY high schools represented!

So crowded I didn't even take the camera out of my bag. First one for me.

I believe the NKy HS swim community has outgrown Scott. If a Fire Marshall showed up at that event yesterday, we might not of had an event!

I know Highlands wasn't there and I dont think Cov. Cath was either. It could have been worse.

Unfortunately there are no other options.

Silverlake.

If there was ever an emergency event in that natatorium with as many people as were there yesterday, it would be sheer panic and pandemonium. There at least needs to be an emergency exit on to the parking lot directly from the pool.

I doubt Sivlerlake was sitting unused last night. It is a commerical facility so for high schools to rent it, Silverlake would have to displace their regular tenant (NKY Clippers) and/or their regular membership. Not sure how much business sense that would make for them. Plus I would have no idea what the rate they would charge the schools would be and if that would be something the schools could absorb.

There was much discussion about moving regionals there last year, but for whatever reason, accessability, availablity, cost, etc. it didn't work out.

I saw Cov Cath swimmers.

I was only going by what I was told. My bad.

Highlands and Cov. Cath were both originally going to the EKY Relay Meet on Saturday, which was cancelled, so Cov. Cath may have attended since that option was eliminated.

I thought I saw the blue Cov Cath swim caps, but very crowded and sometimes hard to see.
