  1. Andrew Hedger Dixie. Has offers from Fordham holy cross Hampton committed to Austin peay a month ago.
  2. Pressure a QB who has thrown the ball less than any other in NKY. No to beat Dixie stop the run make them pass. They run first and sencond. What Dixie are you watching??
  3. Yes Dixie is. You got to have a line O and D. The game is won up front. Dixie has some big strong kids. A few D 1 commits. And it showed. Good luck to Boone. Dixie just looked bigger stronger taller.
  4. That was being nice!! The holes opened up by Dixies line were huge. Dixie's D with 76 and 58 gave Boone fits all night. At times Dixie's line down blocked d lineman 5 yards off the ball.
  5. I dont think its a matter of how bad NCC right side of the line is. Dixie is just very big and strong on the D-line. NT 6'4 280 DE 6'3 235, muti others also play 6'5 230..6'0 250.. Just ask beachwood...
  6. Look at basketball. You can be a great HS player a 6'5 center score 20 a game but not at the D1 level. They will take a 6'10 project over the better shorter player.
  7. Spot on. They tend to thing High School coaches are clueless they can teach the game just not size speed. This is my stance they know what fits the mold and won't beak it often.
  8. I'm with you on this. If you don't have the size/speed they need for a position it doesn't matter how good you are. Kid could set the HS rushing record but never even get a call...
  9. D1 coaches are hung up on size. Its an easier sell to the head coach. I like this kids he's 6'5 290 OL. His tape could not be as good as 20 other smaller kids. They are looking for what the big kid could be in a few years. With speed its the same way.
  10. I feel they take kids first on size/speed. Film on field performance is 2nd. Remember this is HS football. You may have played very bad teams to get your stats.
  11. The question I have is do you think a D1 player is made by a High School program or just has a skill/size that others don't??
  12. Hands down its Johnson from Dixie. Why? FBS committed double teamed on every play
  13. No play calling would have changed this game. Flat out Dixie dominated the line. Hard to run any plays when the guys up front cant get any push..
  14. Dixie D 1 waterboys showed the beachwood waterboys that SIZE does matter.
  15. Beechwood looked small Dixie ran the ball at will.
  16. Hedger was recruited as a blocking TE with good hands. Hand down TE that blocks 90% of the time. Then slips out into the flats. Short yard pass plays.
  17. Johnson and Hedger are D-1 commits. Dixie has to many kids never leaving the feild. Hedger playing D-End and TE. Johnson playing Oline and Dline. Many others also playing both ways..
