How to get recruited for D-1 football

To Evey D1 school. Why not? -
Just want to share my knowledge of how to get your Son into a good position to be recruited. 1. Size/Speed matters. If you are a big guy lineman DL,DE, Then you better fit the mold. 6’3 and up. 225 + pounds with a great frame to put on more weight. The shorter you are the faster you have to be. 2. Great varsity film! JV freshman isn’t going to work. Hi-lite film with your best plays. 3. Don’t rely on your High School coach to do all the work!!! 4. Email your film to every D-1 school. It only takes one to get a free education. Email the OC,DC,HC,and your position coach. When they respond ask direct questions. (Do you see me playing for said school) remember to get any personal email back is a good sign. Narrow down who responds when you email them and get more direct. Ask what they like about your game, how do you get recruited by their school. 5. Go to camps with personal invites ONLY. When you sign up for the camp call txt email the staff let them know you will be there. 6. If you play muti sports let them know. Send an email (Coach I’m a varsity baseball player) Send links to any press you get from any sport. 7. Send lots of emails. Start your email with something that will catch their eye in the subject line (6’5 220lb QB 4.6 40) Then state in the email all your stats Height weight football stats yards tackles ext.) Then link the high-lites to it. 8. Be honest. If your 6'1 don't say your 6'4!! At camps they take your shoe off height and weight. Good luck hope this helps!!

The only thing I see that can hurt Dixie is kids playing both ways. I think a lot of the seniors will play both ways this season. -

Dixie lost two of it's best players Fisk and Caple. Hope they can fill that void. But I do agree Dixie has a lot returning on D. -
