Wow staring games as a PWO!! Great job by the young man. I would think most PWO had offers at smaller FCS schools.

Dixie's Johnson Eastern Michigan commit

16 D1 schools have been at Dixie this spring for 3 players. Dixie staff works hard to make the players dreams come true. Ask the bulldog about your coach!!!

So coaches are missing kids at SK. better talk to your coach.

Why doesn't they great SK play CCH?? How did all the D1 players last season pan out??

Dixie won 21 to 7. Coopers only TD was on Dixie's 2nd team D.

The 6-foot-5, 225 pound Hedger has 47 career receptions for 527 yards and four touchdowns in his career. Big numbers for a HS Tight End with one season to go..

Andrew was the starting TE. He was 2nd in rec. on Dixie last season. Camps and video. You could have great number as a TE but if your not the size no offers will come your way.

AP wants him at 245_250 range. He's 230. Coach Cannon sold Andrew with the statement "How would you like to get 40 reception a year." Also AP said they are weak at TE. They need a guy that has the height to make plays over LBs and block DEs.

Playing TE is the reason Andrew picked AP.

This group should do very well. When was they last time Dixie had two D1 players??? Should be a strong season.

Choach Cannon feels Andrew will be able to compete for the starting TE spot. Cannon also said they just signed a deal to play UK and Tennessee next season.

Good thing my son played for the Spartans in the NKYFL. In his 7 years in the program he had a few coaches that played D-1 Football!!

Dixie Heights TE Andrew Hedger commits to Austin Peay this past weekend. Andrew had 3 other FCS offers and muti FBS intrest. AP offers a chance to play right away and compete in OVC. Head coach Kirby Cannon feels with Andrew they got a FBS size TE with great on ball skills.

Dixie ran 1st and 2nd last season. Moore played well. Let's see what coach B does with 2 D1 players and maybe 3 on roster...
