It should be a good scrimmage?

Cooper is returning only 5 total starters on offense and defensive side of the ball. If there is anytime you can use the term "rebuilding year" then this is it.

The bad side is there isn't very much experience on the team, the good side is they have I believe 70 players which is the most Cooper ever had so that is a huge upside for the future of the program especially if they continue to build the enthusiasm in the program for years to come.

sk1fan......

You starting a thread on a Dixie Heights scrimmage is like bluedad starting a thread on highlands-trinity....props to Bluedad ( he simply has enough sense not to cross that bridge ).

In other news: praying for a good opportunity for two teams to asses, grow, and pound on one another injury free come scrimmage end!

Never know who might show up and watch a game! :sssh:

You need to start your own "short wave" talk radio show within a 5 mile radius of SK.... :lol2:

This scrimmage is at 6 at Dixie tonight, correct? I am going to try to stop up for a few minutes at the start.

I believe Freshmen are at 6, followed by JV, followed by Varsity. Could be totally wrong, teenage boys' communication skills are not exactly stellar.

Freshman and JV AT 6 with varsity following according to message sent out by the coach.

JV/Freshmen on split field at 6, Varsity at 7 to play 2 live quarters with refs and a possible 3rd quarter with running clock.

Easy PSJ, happy to see our kids playing football against someone other than their teammates. Cheers to an injury free scrimmage, growth and development!

LOL - if you had 3 boys on the same team and got three different scenarios to every question you asked about who/when/where, you'd be a tad bit frustrated too.

This is by far my favorite time of the year and I can't wait to see how this season plays out for my sons and their team, so believe me, I am super psyched about tonight. Just wish I had the correct information once in awhile!!!

Dixie has a huge TE on the JV team he caught a pass also.

Cooper has alot of kids playing Varsity compared to Dixie.

As I figured both teams look pretty even Dixie had a couple passing plays for some yards. Nothing to worry about for Pioneer Nation. Cooper also had a long pass for about 50 yards.
