Foul was called on the tackle play. Should have been int. Foul. Lewis Co player didn't play the ball.

This was more of a football game then basketball. Tape of the game should be sent to the state. Is this how basketball is played in eastern Kentucky?

I was at the game. 3 of Dixies starters foul out. Rabe was on the ground with the ball 3 Lewis co. players dove on him! No foul call. After play was stoped Lewis co. player with two hands pushes Hatton. NO foul or Tech??? Score was tied with 10 sec to go Dixie shoots a 3 Hedger rebounds the ball goes up for an easy put back both his arms are pulled down. No call with time running out. Dixies bench exploed. On a fast break Hedger had a break away lay up Lewis co. Big man tackels Hedger. Should have been an int. foul. Lewis co. player didnt go for the ball. This game was out of controll beacuse of the refs. Dixie was up by 21 mid way in 3rd quarter. Thens the fouls started. At least the better team won.

I agree. Dixie teams of the past were soft not this one. Ask CCH, Dixie was much more physical last week. Dixie had 3 red zone TOs. moved the ball on the ground with ease. Multiple CCH players slow to get up after plays. BTW CCH is a very well coached team. I still think 2nd best in nky.

The fact that Dixie returns all but 1 starter from last season. Rember Dixie started around 8 sophomores last year. Also BWs best player by far is gone.

Dixie had two wide open receivers down feild. one was over thrown the other dropped the pass. Heck all CCH did was throw screen.passes. Dixie by 14.

Very spirited. CCH got all they could handle with Dixie. Dixies physical play took a big toll on CCH. Wish the CC players a fast recovery.

CCHS players were droping with camps a lot. Dixie played more physical than cch. Why dixie didnt run more is a head scratcher.

Dixie called off the dogs at half.

This group of jrs are very good. I think Dixie will open some eyes this year. Lots of Dixies Jrs have a year of varsity under there belt. That will pay off for Dixie this season. Many of the jrs never played jv.

first hand info. I was at the Dixie Cooper game. Dixie ran the ball at will. Cooper looked small on the o line and d line. Cooper didnt look good. Does that mean they will look that way in the season? No! The question is Dixie that good or Cooper just down this year.

After tonights game at Dixie Cooper needs alot of work.

im sure with what Cooper lost it will take time for kids to get into there rolls on the team.

In live action Dixie wins easy 28-0. Cooper had a lot of turnovers, around 3 int. and a fumble. Also Cooper looked very small O-line and D-line. Dixie could run the ball at will. Dixie's defence looked good. Morre looked good. Good arm very fast. Dixie had 3 rushing TD's and Moore's pass to 6'5 Hedger, who jumped over 2 Cooper defenders for the only passing TD.

Hedger is a better football player than basketball. 6'5 220 strong, lots of college interest in football. Hedger as a sophomore lead all nky TEs in rec. yards and TDs. Could end up as Dixies all time rec. leader. Hedger is the only heavy weight on Dixies bball roster at 220. Dixie will be good in the post with Hedger and 6'8 Bolin.

Big kid 6"5. has put on 30lb in 3 years.

He doesnt play football.

Not sure sure why he wasn't at the game. he should play well this season.

I think you will see some other step it up thid year also. 6'4 220 lb Andrew Hedger played very well in the post this summer. Also 6'7 mitch bolin played well. Should give Dixie a good post game.

What does dixie need to do to improve? Who will start? Who will be the key players this season?
