Andrew Hedger From Dixie Heights

Featured Replies

Andrew is a big, strong, athletic kid as well. All district player, getting a lot of college interest in football. All district post player at Dixie, rebounds very well, good footwork in the post, and fairly consistent midrange game. As a sophomore, did some really good work for Dixie, not listed as a top 20 player in the region, but will have a chance to prove himself this year*.

*(this is part of a series about potentially under-recognized kids in NKY started by Big Fundamental).

He is great ball player, if anyone is going to make McDonald and Schulte work this year, its him and his partner in crime Mitch Bolin.

Hedger is a better football player than basketball. 6'5 220 strong, lots of college interest in football. Hedger as a sophomore lead all nky TEs in rec. yards and TDs. Could end up as Dixies all time rec. leader. Hedger is the only heavy weight on Dixies bball roster at 220. Dixie will be good in the post with Hedger and 6'8 Bolin.

Then he must be a stud football player, because he has a killer jump shot and good footwork.

Andrew is a big boy and plays with a high motor. Great rebounder. Really wish he would work on low post moves... with his size and strength he would be near impossible to stop. He is also just an all around good kid.

Anyone know what Niehaus weighs? I think between him, Hedger and even Hatton Dixie has some beef to throw at teams.
