I was pretty happy with what I saw from Cov Cath's defensive line. Dixie just didn't seem as tough as they were billed to be.

CovCath looks like a top 4A team.

Dixie didn't look like they had anyone that would play D1 football.

I guess I know nothing because I thought this game would be a great one.

Dixie has 3 D1 commits. Two of them are Hedger and Johnson. I can't remember the third. For a team with this personnel and a Sr. QB, this result is flat out embarrassing. Two punt returns for TDs on ridiculously poor tacking. Penalties killing drives. Moore throwing passes to yard markers. This team has a 6' 5" D1 TE. i think he caught 1 pass.

 

With HHS laying an egg last night, CCH should be the favorite in 4A, and #1 in NKy.

I thought the CCH pass protection was pretty spectacular.

It's ashame that drew moore looks the exact same as he did is sophomore year. Dixie has some size but overall an average team. Cov cath looked good. Imop it was more of Dixie being unprepared and cov cath executing on a higher level. Cov cath should be Intersting this year.

Johnson and Hedger are D-1 commits. Dixie has to many kids never leaving the feild. Hedger playing D-End and TE. Johnson playing Oline and Dline. Many others also playing both ways..
