If the above post is correct, Why was Dave Brossart fired from CCH? I wish Dave wirth nothing but the best but sometimes in life a change is needed and if he doesn't get the monkey of beating HHS off is back, it might be that time. As a CCH alumnus, 10-3 records are great. The basically beat up everyone els in NKY. But at some point we have to beat highlands. I understand DW is not out there taking the snaps and throwing the ball. But he is the leader of the young men on the football team and he has to be held accountable, good and bad. As people of the cov cath family, we have to ask ourselves what's good enough. 10-3 every year and being 0-9 vs highlands in 6 Years. I don't know what the answer is .

I agree with you. But then why did CCH fire Dave Brossart? He was one hell of a math teacher. All of the kids loved him as a teacher and a coach.

Imop, this is about how unprepared CCH looks against highlands. In previous years, CCH will play a good game in the regular season, (I believe losing 42-37). Then CoV Cath will come back in the playoffs and loose 49-14. There is not a big gap in talent here. Keep Wirth or fire him, I don't know what the right answer is going to be. But I just know that CCH fired Dave Brossart for back to back 5-7 seasons, and bob Rowe didn't give DB much of a chance. Plus, Brossart inherited a Rodenburg made schedule, which was plane brutal. After 6 years, I believe bob Rowe should know what kind of football coach he has.

0-9 vs highlands isn't competitive. Dave wirth has been given 6 years. He can't beat a good time.

I played on the 2005 and 2006 football teams at CCH. Our defense constantly were having to deal with our offense putting us in bad positions. We always played a top level of defense. It didn't matter if we played against Moeller or Grant Co.

Is there a lot of of carry over from Dale's staff to the current staff at Highlands?

We know that the CCH offense played horrible. But why can't the defense sustain their play of the first half? They have to be able to play four quarters.

The question I ask everyone, Why can't CCH compete against Highlands on the varsity level?

Highlands plays a fast brand of football. They average 5 to 7 seconds between each play. CCH plays slow, it's almost like they are thinking to much. Just a Dominant performance by Highlands.

the turnovers were a big part of the game. But it's up to the coaches to keep the boys calm and keep grinding. To me, It seems like CCH crapped down their pants and it was over. Having 12 men on the field and delay of game penalties. Overall a bad performance. But highlands deserves a lot of credit. They are a great football team and they get better every week.

I didn't see much of a difference physically. Highlands is a fundamentally sound football team. CCH is not.
