State Powerlifting meet was today at North Bullitt HS. For many teams this is their first meet of the season. Many teams have had meets cancelled because of snow days and other reasons. You can hear the official say "you're bumping me" and Coach Bowers responds with "I am not bumping you" and is then thrown out of the game. From the looks of things IMO Coach Bowers was trying to get by the official, he wasn't making eye contact or being argumentative. The official seemed to be the aggressor here. Almost like he wanted to do it...saying "You're out of here! You're done for next week!"

So what if the team that has put 70+ on the board is a running team. Say it's the Triple Option or just straight Power O and they can't be stopped...Should they then start passing the ball since it is the run that they have having success with?

As did I. I knew for as long as I could remember that I would be at Trinity. But i was a JCPS kid all the way up til 8th grade. Wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise.

As long as this was done the right way I have no problem with it. And it sounds like it was handled correctly. BG pulled starters. Start getting the backups in early in the 3rd quarter. The starters still need to get the reps in during the first half...even if up by a large margin. Run your offense with the JVs (and frosh if you dress them) and if the other team can't stop your 2nd, 3rd, 4th team players then i don't know what to tell you. Looks like all 2nd half scores were from people other than the starters. BG didn't do anything wrong.

I'm only asking because of what HBird is saying. I haven't said I think T should be #1. BG may be better and they should be strongly considered for the top spot.

According to MaxPreps Trinity's record vs OOS opponents since 2004 is 17-10. They've won 17 of 27 games. That's about 62%. What is BGs record vs OOS? I didn't see it listed on MaxPreps.

How are the last 2 posts excuses for a loss? I never made an excuse for either loss. Nowhere in either post does it say "if we did this or of this had happened". Those aren't excuses. People are taking issues with your reasoning because it doesn't make sense. BG may be the best team in the state, but your reasoning has little validity.

So in your eyes, losing to two defending state champions who have multiple high level D1 recruits by a combined 5 points is embarrassing the state? Explain that one please.

Believe that Clark County team was one of the state's best ever.

Judging by the posts some of your are really not aware of what kind of team Ensworth has this year.

Didn't the '94 team have 4 losses? It's tough to say that you were the best ever at a school like T when you struggled in the regular season.
