Cooper played well at NKU today. Adam Kunkel left with an offer from NKU.

Love to see him get an offer from UC.

Blaine is playing basketball when he can. Works it in around his baseball schedule.

I think that next year Braydon Runion from Cooper will be one of the top players in this region. People don't realize how good this kid is because he is playing with McNeil and Kunkel. He will be one of the top defenders in the region next year and will be one of the better all around players.

Has Mike Listerman made a decision on whether he will be returning to coach Holmes next year?

You have to ask the same question on Cooper defensive end. Who guards Walters?

Blaine Walters and Daniel Wasser are now both coming off the bench. Neither start. Chris McNeil, Dante Hendrix, Adam Kunkel, Braydon Runion and Sean McNeil. Who does he guard to start the game? Zone?

Hailey Anderson was huge last night. Lexi Held picked up two fouls in the first minute of the game and had to sit. Cooper could have let the game slip away at that point but Hailey stepped up with 9 points while Lexi was sitting with foul trouble. She gave them a big lift.

What happened with the Boone County head coach? Heard he was fired during the day and was not allowed to coach this game. True?

Add Tyler Ollier to the list of kids that have stepped up big and played very good basketball while the McNeil boys were hurt. T.O. has shot the ball at a very high percentage and been a big contributor. The McNeils being hurt has provided an opportunity for a number of kids to gain some varsity confidence and add to a deep roster.

Cooper finished a perfect 18-0 in district play. Freshman, JV and Varsity all finished 6-0. Congrats Jags!

I thought that Aiden Ruthsatz had a nice game last night but in my opinion the best player on the floor was Dante Hendrix. Since the injuries to two starters he has been on a roll. Love the way the kid plays!

Dante Hendricks was huge! He did a little bit of everything and played one of his best all around games. Kid is a winner!

Played in a football All Star game.

Braydon Runion had a fantastic night and played very well. Rebounded the ball early and brought a lot of energy early. Braydon is a strong young man! Someone posted above that he played football. That is not the case. Basketball and baseball only. Very impressive win for Cooper with Kunkel having an off night and Noah Shidler being out sick.

Glad to see Ethan Haines have a great game. He has all of the physical tools to be a special player.

Waiting on the official stats but was told that Sean McNeil finished with a triple double last night. He played his best game of this short season.

I would love to see Maggie Jones move into the starting lineup. I think that she has really matured and become the top 3 point shooter. She also brings the ability to sit down and guard on the perimeter. With the attention that Harney and Niece will garner Maggie should get a lot of good looks.

I see that Nike GEYBL had a big meeting in Chicago. Any exciting news to share Jesse James? What does Nike have planned for 2017?

Kentucky Premier-Hawkins 17u and Kentucky Premier-Lay 16u played a challenging travel schedule this year as well. Both teams were based out of Northern Kentucky.

Congrats Maddie! Proud of you girl!
