Mr. Sixer
Final from Newport. Braydon Runion had to have had 20-25 points it seemed. Great game for him and the Jags turned up the defense down the stretch to pull away.
World B Free
First time seeing cooper this year. They are very good. Runion killed Newport in this one, as Kunkel had an off game. Both McNeils played & looked good. The older McNeil kind of went with the flow early on, but in 4th qtr. became more active. He'll be ready. This Newport team is young & they will improve & physically mature. Seem like good kids, but they can't just rely on getting more experience. They will need to develop a more mature focus & hustle. Hellbird
Braydon has been kind of flying under the radar for those outside the Cooper community. I think this may have been his coming out party. He has been a major key to the Jags success while the 2 McNeil's were out. Braydon and Dante Hendrix both had to step up as they both did admirably so that Kunkle wasn't the only guy teams could key on. This should get interesting to see how teams handle Cooper from here on out with both McNeils back, they know they now have 5 starters that can impact a game big time. Budman
Add Tyler Ollier to the list of kids that have stepped up big and played very good basketball while the McNeil boys were hurt. T.O. has shot the ball at a very high percentage and been a big contributor. The McNeils being hurt has provided an opportunity for a number of kids to gain some varsity confidence and add to a deep roster.
