Big win for Cooper. They are a VERY good team. Without seeing the box it appears that Cooper was able to grind it out in a defensive struggle. Nice to be able to win when you score 50 or need to score 80.

 

I really wish the CCH/Cooper game could move to NKU...

Great win for Cooper even being short-handed without Hendrix and playing in the hostile environment of Elder where not many visitors win. This team just keeps stepping up and has several weapons that other teams have to prepare for.

No one said that they should give up the home game. The only thing that I read from the previous posts was that they wished that it was in a bigger venue so more people could get in to watch it.

I fully understand the previous posts and why. However, in order for it to be moved to NKU, CovCath would have to give up the home game. Hard to want one without needing the other to happen.

 

Like many others, I can NOT wait for 1/18!! I'm also excited for the JV kids on both sides that will get the biggest crowd of their lives to play in front of.

The JV wont get the biggest crowd of their lives because it is at a small venue. I tried to go to Cov Cath and NCC a couple years ago and it sold out at around 530. I believe they cancelled the game at half because players where slipping all over the court. Game should definitely be moved and it would give them both more experience on the NKU court for the regionals.

Are there are a lot of JV games with 1250 fans packed in the gym? Heck, are there many varsity games with 1250 fans?

If this game is moved the JV game will have a lot more than 1250 people there.

Or less because they won't have to arrive early for the varsity event in order to get a seat.
