2: I was in Northern Kentucky free from my landlord, plenty of opportunity to party!
Pendleton avenges a loss from last year without Clay Monroe who is still out with an ankle injury and Tredyn Thomas being in foul trouble all night long and fouling out with over three minutes left.
I’d say the St. X name pops out more for Male and that makes it look harder. But from a complete outsider to both programs without a dog in the fight I can tell you that I had zero doubt these two teams would be the last ones standing.

Everyone was but everyone wasn’t. The show-cause order from the accreditation was writing on the wall. It was going to be a tough turn around. So people were blindsided maybe but certainly not surprised.

For some reason the KHSAA is scared to shorten the playoffs a week and they are tired of people complaining about travel. That’s the reason for weeks one and two.
As far as the regional finals and beyond I’m not sure anyone understands why they are doing it.
Leave a program where you will continually be in the regional semis/ finals and possibly Rupp Arena to go to a place where you will routinely not be in the regional tournament.
Bob Huggins- he was very down to earth.
Shaun Alexander when I was in high school and he came to speak in NKY.
Terry Bradshaw- 100% jerk.
Used to see Vontaze Burfict a lot at a golf course in NKY. As crazy as it sounds he was a really nice guy who was always cordial and never told a kid no when they asked for an autograph or a picture.
Simmins has been an assistant in NKY for a decade plus. He was at Scott for a while, and at Walton Verona some too. No idea where he has been more recently.
