Used to have a lot of players in the 1000lb club or higher.

My hope is they take a weight lifting program seriously, it’s what used to set Danville apart from a lot of teams. They used to have a lot of powerful kids. I just don’t see it anymore, in those years if talent was down some they made it for it in the weight room.

Hard to go to Corbin and win, plus Corbin could run and throw the ball, with a duel threat QB

Shelby Valley defeated Leslie Co 49-38, that makes me think there defense is suspect, I’ll take LCA 48-28.

I thought Danville played with effort just couldn’t take advantage of some golden opportunities. Special teams killed them tonight in the end

Good defense, probably will be their offense that stops them

Linebacker, main running back, scheduled to be back Friday for Danville, not sure how He will play, just have to wait and see, may be able to plug up some holes on defense that have been keeping the Ads defense on the field too much.

Don’t think Boyle will lose this season, maybe not next year either.

Really frustrated last night after the game, these are just kids out there playing, I guess what makes it so frustrating is I’ve seen them play a lot better earlier this season. But win or lose I support them 100%.

These guys are playing like the last teams Sam Harp had, no fire, no aggression, have somethings go wrong and hang their heads and give up

The last thing I heard was that Coach Clevenger said His shoulder was still very soar fromthe injury He suffered at Tates Creek and probably would not play.

I really think they did, and thought they should to save time to score, they did enough to stop the Garrard 2 pt conversion, then scored themselves in a couple of plays, Garrard then didn’t have time to respond, don’t get me wrong Garrard played there hearts out. Jerry Perry did about everything He could for His team to win, He’s a great veteran Coach, hats off to the Golden Lions.

Garrard dominated Danville’s run defense, but not Danville’s offense, they ran by Garrard like they were standing still, when they were stopped offense they stopped themselves a fumble deep in Garrard territory, 2 terrible snaps in a row deep in Garrard territory and some stupid penalties. McGuire was the big play guy but other players made some good plays. Garrard’s run game was dominant but defense was not. I thought Danville’s coaching staff should have crowded the line of scrimmage and dared Garrard to throw but they never did.

2nd half, mainly 4th qtr Danville lost focus, this should have been a running clock in the 4th qtr. but a couple of lost fumbles lost possession on a on side kick and Wagner put in a quarter back who could throw the ball and there you go.

They never looked like they wanted to play, it’s one thing to get beat, it’s another to play with no effort, no emotion, and just go through the motions. Clevenger never not one time called time out and go out on the field to try to motivate His team, He is a good coach but he showed no emotion on the sidelines, worst performance by a Danville team I can remember in a long time. Heard Pulaski ran 85 plays to Danville’s 35.

Danville finishes the toughest part of reg season schedule, lost both but learned a lot, showed grit against Boyle Co., I think the rest of the schedule will fav our Danville, especially with home games against district foes Somerset and LCA. After the Boyle game I really think they will win the district.

Danville has had made quite a bit of improvement since they scrimmaged South Western

My apologies to the Ads, I really thought they would get a running clock put on them. Boyle is the better team but have some work to do if they want to get back to Lexington, probably will help to get Crawford back. Danville limited Boyle rushing to just under 100 yards. Danville probably gave the Boyle receivers too much cushion, giving them 8 to 10 yards a pass play. I’m sure Clevenger told them not to let them get behind them, but a little too much cushion. The last points were easier for Boyle because Danville had to roll the dice and gave them short fields. Good luck to Boyle the rest of the season. I feel good about our chances to win the district.

That’s what I hope happens Corbin and BC are the toughest games on the schedule should make them ready for the rest of the year. They have to figure a way to open the offense up with the passing game. It’s easy to load up the box and stop the run. The defense is pretty solid but the offense has to move the hall and take some pressure off
