This might be the most intriguing, under the radar game in 2A this week. Shelby Valley (10-1) boasts ten wins for just the second time in at least 30 years. Their lone loss came to an excellent Ridgeview squad from Virginia. They've averaged nearly 50 ppg in their wins this season. Running back Seth Johnson (2,129 yards and 24 TDs) leads one of the state's top rushing attacks, that averages 374 yards per game. LCA comes in at 8-3, but they've been outscored by a combined 139-20 in their three losses and have been susceptible to the run at times this season. QB Jayden Barnhardt (over 2,000 total yards and 24 TDs) pilots the offense, with Thomas White and Xavier Brown carrying the load on the ground. Dearious Smith and Will Vernon are Barnhardt's favorite targets at WR.

Shelby Valley defeated Leslie Co

49-38, that makes me think there defense is suspect, I’ll take LCA 48-28.

I think LCA rolls in this one.
