  1. I believe that Boyle wins. Franklin County likely puts up a good challenge and Boyle will separates themselves further as it gets later into the game.
  2. Trinity wins big, I think this will be similar to how they beat St. X. SW will maybe play them a little better, but I’ll be surprised if this isn’t a running clock win for Trinity.
  3. I would absolutely love see Murray win, but I don’t see it happening. CAL is just too good and frankly might be a top 3-5 team statewide, which is enough of a reason in 3A. And this takes nothing away from Murray and the season they had, they have a very good football team. I just think CAL is quadruple that and why they are as formidable as they are. CAL has had some very good teams over the years and this is their best one in my opinion.
  4. KCD is definitely good, but I think Raceland’s team being together the time they have been, their running game, and defense is why they get it done altogether.
  5. And the NCAA seriously needs to enact the same rule that the NFL has about coaches not being able to be contacted until all of college football is done, including regular season, conference championships, bowl season, and the playoff. Not that it will, this has been one of my only long going issues with college football.
  6. And here to remain, strong reminder of how there’s positives and negatives to everything. The more negative side of it is a hot mess though, can’t deny that.
  7. Big game coming up between Pittsburgh and Buffalo.
  8. I had a feeling Houston would beat the Colts. Carolina beating the Rams is definitely a surprise.
  9. There’s going to be clusters in people’s minds already. If BYU beats Texas Tech on Saturday, that’s really going to add more. I don’t think BYU will beat them but that brings more selection chaos. I would think all of the potential at large bids are big Texas Tech fans.
  10. Alabama is probably safe after beating Auburn. Beating Georgia definitely gets them in. I don’t look for Vanderbilt to make it I wouldn’t sleep on Ole Miss, they could get in, who knows. Texas has a strong argument for an at large, even with their three losses in my opinion. I almost can’t imagine the ACC bringing two teams again after last year’s playoff, but I do believe Miami is clearly better than Virginia and Duke, which the selection committee might believe and give them the nod. Oregon could be in for the B1G. And as far as the teams outside of the power conferences, I can’t see more than one getting in, deserving or not. They should have just included 16 teams when the playoff was expanded. Even with that, others would probably complain too. But 16 is better than 12 in my opinion.
  11. If Auburn wins, they are bowl eligible and I couldn’t imagine Alabama being chosen for the playoff. Losses to Auburn and Florida State would be too much to overcome in my opinion.
  12. The way that the Alabama and Auburn game is going, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Auburn wins.
  13. That is a million kinds of crazy. LCA shouldn’t be permitted to host postseason games moving forward if this isn’t drastically changed. And yes, the KHSAA needs to involve themselves.
  14. There are a lot of openings and I agree with you on your other points too. And I don’t think UK may be able to afford to fire Stoops outright.
  15. I was happy to see it after the last three games. The game against SMU was HORRIBLE, the other two losses were too.
  16. Dominant win by Louisville to say in the least. UK definitely helped them too as abysmally as they played both sides of the ball all game. A shutout hasn’t happened since 2004, which Louisville won 28-0. Go Cards!
  17. I’m happy that Louisville is playing and winning the way they are, but a lot of this involves how bad UK has looked. I don’t think UK may score. They are running out of time.
  18. I totally agree, I was thinking this could be the best game next weekend. Either winning wouldn’t surprise me and both are playing very good football. Good luck to both teams, just what should be wanted for a state championship game.
  19. Ohio State is going to win. It’s not been that close as the game has gone on.
  20. Louisville has run the ball 36 times and passed 19 times. The way they have run the ball overall, why not.
  21. That was a nice interception defensively.
  22. The Cards left points on the field to end the first half. Louisville was clearly the better team up to halftime. UK did look abysmal on both sides of the ball though.
