It is that they never led Florida once in three games.

WOW, did not know that.

Massachusetts 87 Miami (OH) 83
They are still in in my opinion.
-
Louisville 62 SMU 58 (ACC Tournament Second Round)
Closer than I would have preferred, just win at this point. Go Cards!

Louisville 92 Miami 89
This win made me happy. Hoping for a good conference tournament out of them.

NKU 96 Green Bay 76 (Horizon League)
NKU actually looked good today. They will have to play equally good tomorrow night for a chance at beating Wright State. Hope they do though.

Miami Redhawks Undefeated Season
They are officially in the tournament in my opinion. I don’t care how good or bad a conference is, if a team goes undefeated for a whole regular season, they are in. Congratulations to Miami University.

Same for me.

Miami Redhawks Undefeated Season
There given every year to plenty 12 and more loss teams from the power conferences who don’t make it out of the first round.

Miami Redhawks Undefeated Season
I don’t care about the strength or weakness of conferences. Being 29-0 at this point is a huge accomplishment for any college basketball team, regardless of conferences. Granted, I don’t see them getting far in the NCAA tournament, but they deserve in at this point. Think of how many teams have made the tournament being just above.500, which did win conference championships. if they aren’t in with what they have accomplished to this point, it wouldn’t be a good thing. I’d be all for one of the more mediocre teams from the power conferences not making it in over Miami not being chosen, if not more than one.

I agree.

Miami Redhawks Undefeated Season
I always liked it there. You are right though, outside of Oxford, there’s nothing there surrounding or very close to it. I used to stop at a bar with friends in Millville on the way there. That was basically it up 27 from the end of Colerain if driving that way. I always thought Oxford was one of the neater college towns I’ve been to. It’s one of the better ones close to here in my opinion.

SMU 95 Louisville 85
A lot of turnovers and bad defense is not the equation to winning. Defense has had its struggles to say it the least.

2026 Pulaski County Maroons
I believe that Pulaski County is going to be very good this coming season and wouldn’t be surprised if they win state. They have a really good senior class returning, maybe one of the best in the state. Between the seniors and the rest of their team, they are going to be tough to beat.

Miami Redhawks Undefeated Season
I always liked Millett Hall. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Oxford. I might have to take a trip up in a weekend or two just to hang out. I enjoyed the basketball and football games I’ve been to there. Even if the games are sold out, it would be fun to go just to hang up on High Street, it’s definitely been a good while since being there for me.

Miami Redhawks Undefeated Season
They have a good chance of finishing the regular season undefeated. I’m happy for Miami, they haven’t had this much excitement in Oxford and for other fans/supporters in a long time.

Seahawks 29 Patriots 13 (Super Bowl LX)
That was a dominant performance by Seattle defensively. New England didn’t have a snap offensively at or past Seattle’s 43- yard line until their first touchdown was scored. Even with that, the game was closer than the score showed, New England played very well defensively too. Both teams have bright futures ahead.

Your Favorite Football Teams in School History
I would have been too young to know or watch at the time, but I’ve heard plenty from Boyle and Lincoln say that Danville’s 1984 team was one of the best that they saw, and that’s including some who’s said it within less than the last 10 years, and a good part of them know football well. I had several relatives who lived between Boyle and Lincoln longer ago and got to know plenty of their friends too. Few of my relatives are still there, definitely made me think of memories with them.

Yes, the people watching traveled well at that time. I don’t remember how many buses came but a lot of people went to watch back then, whether playing home or away.

Coach Ridder was very good for Dayton. The year you referred to with Paris was when I played as a sophomore. That was Dayton’s first year in the playoffs since the 70’s. Their 1996 team was by far the best team to not win state, that team very well could have. Whether Dayton had talent or a lack of it, they always played tough and physically under Ridder, no question about that.

Even though I'm from Dayton, I can also say that the Bellevue team from 1990 or 1991 was a fun one to watch too. I have family and relatives who were part of that team and they were definitely fun to watch. They made state and lost to Russellville, but that was a very talented team.

The more fun teams from Dayton fun to watch were in the 1990's in my opinion, particularly from about 1993-2000. Davis Field was very fun being at to watch and as a player from 1993-1998, the atmosphere there was unlike any other. I'm sure there were other times before this, I'm sure that the sixties and seventies was a fun time for it too.

Newport Central Catholic names Terry Brown head football coach
Very good hire for NCC.

Seahawks 29 Patriots 13 (Super Bowl LX)
Seattle is definitely the favorite and I think they win, but New England could, they do have a good defense. They have been bigger underdogs before when they beat the Rams for their first Super Bowl, but that team was EXTREMELY GOOD defensively.

Patriots 10 Broncos 7 (AFC Championship)
The biggest cost to Denver was not kicking the shorter field goal instead of going for it when they did.
