It will be a close and physical game. I think Trinity takes it this time around, good luck to both teams. And this is for the 6A state championship in my opinion.

I like the score prediction, could see whoever wins being by this or a very similar margin. This one does have the potential to be pretty high scoring.

This should be a very interesting game, I might be coming to this one. I believe either team can win. I think I’m going to take Covington Catholic closely with being in Park Hills. Good luck to both teams in what should be a great football game.

Congratulations to Campbellsville on the big win and to Newport Central Catholic on a nice season. Was glad to see how NCC fought through the game even with coming up short. Many thought this wouldn’t be close.

I think Hensley was the main reason many thought LCA would win, myself included. I obviously know that Mayfield can never be counted out regardless of where they are played by anyone. But this game is a solid reminder that one player can’t determine an all out outcome, it’s full team effort on both sides of the ball, which Mayfield clearly was better from that perspective.

Wow! As said in other posts, I believe KCD is definitely the favorite but it doesn’t feel that overwhelmingly. We shall all see a little later tonight.

There are several good quarterfinals games tonight, some being state championship quality type games.

I’m with both of you. Back when Burrow got his contract that he did I said I hoped they didn’t Joey Votto themselves as the Reds did. Obviously Burrow’s contract is shorter but relates to just about as long in terms of playing football versus baseball. And I unfortunately agree about the injury prone issues, but the OL and coaches haven’t been very helpful in that regard.

I don’t know what will happen but I believe that their chances of better draft picks is better than making the playoffs. I don’t see much moving forward under the wins column with Browning, just don’t see it and the rest of the schedule is grueling too.

The scenarios could be interesting depending on how various things might happen.

I agree and wouldn’t see it as much of a surprise unless it’s to people in Georgia. Alabama has played better as of late. Assuming both finishes their seasons without a loss, what happens in the CFP if Alabama beats Georgia in the SEC championship game?

Tough loss and nothing is any easier from here. I think the chances of making the playoffs are pretty bleak now. I think it’s fair to say any games left without Burrow is a loss.

I would think, if not less. Their remaining schedule doesn’t get any easier.
