  1. Cooper is the type of team Holmes has lost to in past seasons.
  2. Brossart seems like it is a really hard job due to the number of boys that play either soccer, cross country, or one sport. There just aren't enough other kids to put a godo team together considering they are in such a tough football area.
  3. I don't know anything about him at Pendleton. I did find this old thread when he was at Ryle. http://bluegrasspreps.com/ky-football-high/ryle-offensive-coordinator-209184.html
  4. What level did you play and what D1 programs did you say no to?
  5. You turned down a chance for a free education and to play D1 ball for the opportunity to pay for part of your education at a small school? I don't think I've ever heard of anyone doing that unless the small school is someplace like Harvard.
  6. Do any other districts play 2 district games against each opponent?
  7. You are right. He left Sheldon Clark.
  8. That was a rough year considering they came off of a state championship. No freshmen team coming with talent to help next year either.
  9. Should the question be about Conners defense? Its bad every season. I should have kept a chart when listening to the online broadcast Friday night of how many plays each drive was. Maybe it didn't matter where Conner kicked the ball to. Conner D seemed to not be able to stop them all night. How many games did Conner lose this year where they gave up 28 points or more?
  10. 10 onside kicks. Franklin had a short field the entire game. Did that strategy cost Conner the game?
  11. You might be right. I can't imagine Coach Wurth putting his stud qb in harm's way with JV linemen. It seems excessive.
  12. Are you sure? I was told that the starting offense was in other than some injured linemen.
  13. 2 D1 qb's. Stud in Timmons. Stud in Fogel. 2 bad defenses. It will either be 63-60 or 7-6.
  14. I tend to agree but what would be the better method?
  15. When it was 52-3 who was the qb and who was the receiver that put them up 59-3? Was it a freshman?
  16. Would it be running their offense if it was 62-3 in the 4th quarter?
  17. I just read this entire thread for the first time. I didn't see where anything was definitive one way or the other.
  18. QB is going to Marshall to play baseball. One of their linemen is going to play for Miami Hurricanes. Running back is going to Northwestern. Linebacker might be going to Michigan State. You didn't get beat by an average high school team.
  19. So KY has two of the top 10 on the list? Actually, the city of Louisville has two of the top 10 on the list? I would have lost that trivia contest.
  20. They are an decent team with a really good QB in Burr.
  21. You took it easy on him. No comment on his "try and follow along"?
  22. This LaSalle team is the same team that lost to Columbus DeSales. Columbus DeSales lost to Ryle.
  23. Old Guy, I've enjoyed your updates over the years. However, it takes away from your deed if you have to tell others that they don't do what you do.
  24. That stinks. Did he play much as a junior?
  25. CovCath's schedule has not been very strong this season. Some of it is out of their control. While they would still win I would like to see them play Campbell County and Dixie again. Those two teams are not the same teams they were at the beginning of the season. This three-week stretch is one of the worst imaginable.
