I'm hearing that Perry County Central's Justin Johnson was ruled eligible today by the KHSAA

 

Another reason to dislike the KHSAA.

I knew he'd be ruled eligible but just wasn't for sure when.

How can this happen? He clearly left when the coach left. I am really confused how the KHSAA knows he followed the coach and still is able to play.

Amazing the total joke that the rulings have become within this organization. Shocking really.

The move is definately fishy! However, how can the KHSAA do anything about it, if the kid legally moves? I know we all get mad about it and don't like it, but the way the rule reads there is nothing they can do, but make him eligible.

What do the people in power in Perry and Knott County have on the people in the KHSAA?

 

Cordia basically has an entire team of transfers.

 

Hazard and Perry have kids transfer back and forth between each other and they are 5 miles apart, not to mention the sheer number transfers PCC gets over all.

I was told he was but KHSAA had to sign off on it for it to become official.

This sure changes things in the 14th. Knott Central and Hazard are both about the same (although Hazard's best guard broke his ankle in Thursday's game with Knott and will be out for 6 weeks). I've never seen Johnson play but from what I hear he is a strong built 6'7 center who is a difference maker.

And I believe Cordia is still waiting on rulings on 2 very talented transfers from either Canada or New Jersey. And one of Hazards's best players is a 6'6 player who transferred to Cordia last year from Texas and left the Lions for the Bulldogs this summer. Its's crazy in the 14th right now.
