While the Colonels of CovCath have already assured themselves a 1st round playoff game (vs. Rowan County) the Cougars of Conner will be fighting to earn themselves a home 1st round playoff game with a victory over CovCath.

 

The questions for this game in my eye's are:

 

Will the Conner Coaching staff give Fogel one more week to recover from his injury to make sure he is 100% ready for a run in the playoffs and if he does play, will he be playing both sides of the ball?

 

Will Conner be able to stop the CovCath offense attack as Conner has given up 244 points this season in nine games for an average of a little over 27 points a game?

 

Will Conner be able to score more than 27 points against a CovCath "D" that has only given up an average of 10.6 points a game?

 

What your thoughts on this game Friday night at Conner?

 

 

BTW the biggest question of the night won't be who will win this game but will be;

 

Where will Clyde be sitting and what team will he be rooting for?:idunno::walk:

Conner has a lot to play for ie home field game. So I do think Fogle will play IF they deem him to be healthy.

CCH D did not fare well against HHS. Conner has a lot of weapons like HHS including a QB who can run. Losing Loney takes away one of Conner's weapons but they still have quite a few.

 

90% chance I will have to be listening from afar. Probably heading to Nashville for the weekend.

 

Here's hoping for a good game. Since Conner needs it more and because I'm loyal to a fault I'll root for the Cougars.

Drew went to Blessed Sacrament through 5th grade. He is very good friends with Sam Burchell. Drew vs Sam on a run play will be worth the price of admission.

Could not care less who Clyde roots for, he played at Conner and his boys played at CovCath, so it's a coin flip. The more important question is which broadcast will he be listening to???
