Personally, I wish the young man would reconsider his decision and humbly ask to return to the team (assuming this is possible as to school and/or team policy)Make the apology to his Coaches and teammates and move forward. A kid this young makes mistakes but you never want to look back and say I should have handled this differently and the school, if possible, should allow him to correct a clearly juvenile mistake. All kids should be made to understand "beware social media"!

My "young" Panthers keep improving as a team. None of these kids other than J-Rod had any real varsity minutes. Coach Kirk should be seriously considered for COY for what he's done with this group.

Really happy for Paris, I hope they keep it rolling and Mason will be just fine. They're very young and have had some turmoil to deal with as well.

Biggest positive for BC so far this season is Brady Jones. He keeps getting better and has been their most efficient player thus far. Young man is playing very, very well.

Be careful what you wish for.......

Clearly the seed/draw issue in the 39th is irrelevant as it pertains to even the weakest 10th Region in history. Currently appears to be a race to the bottom. It's a function of who's the "least worse" team at tournament time as to who wins the 39th this year. IMHO of course.

They'll have to hire an Auctioneer to do the play by play on this one.

He's getting better every game. Much more aggressive on both ends of the floor and has a nice touch inside. He's a "load" if he catches on the block. I believe he'll continue to improve his body and strength and pose significant match up problems for most 10th region teams over the next 2 years. Keep watching

Bracken at worst should be 18-10 by tournament time. They only have 3 teams with winning records on their remaining schedule and the rest are all 10+ points gimme wins easy. Now how this translates into district preparedness I don't know but with Mason losing Garrison I have to think other than it being at Mason it's as weak as district ever. I'd say it's Bracken's to lose at this point. 37th district is #1, 40th #2, 38th # 3 and 39th #4 . Carpe diem Polar Bears it doesn't get any easier than this.

Steve Cordle, Soph at Augusta. 6'6" and about 240. I don't have any stats but we never have anybody that big so I thought I should mention him.

Looks like a good update Papa. As I said in another thread the top 5 seem to be distancing themselves from the field at this point.

Not likely, Nicholas is playing well and my Panthers are a year or two away. I think they had a chance to play home and home which would have been two more W's on your schedule but inexplicably Bracken chose to not exact their revenge for the last 6 years. I suppose I should thank someone.

Wrong on that one. I posted the score and a very positive and encouraging information about Bracken beyond that. As for the other people posting here, I don't have a clue who they are with the exception of Randy, MCPapa, Older Coach and you.
