I have been watching GRC for the last five years and every year Lexington Catholic has beaten us with that same press. I think we have people this year that does a good job handling that press that we have never had before. As much as Bopper handles the ball, he has very few turnovers. He and Robbie does a fine job of keeping the ball in the center of the floor and beating the press. Any time you dribble to the side against that press, and stop, you're trapped. a loss ball. Vinny does a good job in the middle receiving the ball against the press.. You have to get the ball down the floor before you can score (good logic) I just wish that when they have a two on one that they would make a pass. Robbie did a good defensive job on Schuette. Catholic hit some luck shots banking in those threes also. You can take up all you want for those officials but I think they were horrible. They made some horrible charge-block calls and Catholic was all over the backs of the Clark players on rebounds and no calls were made. I didn't like them at all. All of Clarks big men played well. A good win for the CARDS.

Not a very logical quote. I think Clark have already proven themselves. You can't base their status on one game being played at Lex Cath ,playing in an old mid-sized gym. That quote was just an effort to knock Clark.

If I were GRC, I would cancel that game until they could play in their larger gym. I guess Lexington Cath thinks their full court zone press will be more effective in the smaller gym. This is a joke. For what reason aren't they using their gym. This game has been scheduled for about a year. Very poor organizing on the part of Lex Catholic.

When I saw them play, Behanan shot about every time he got it and the rest never had a chance to step up. A one man team will never win the big games. It takes a team.

I agree, a good hard practice is about as tiring as a game and they practice every off day. They should be able to go hard every day. I don't think the boys get tired physicially but may get mentally tired of playing so often. Clark played extremely well Saturday morning after playing Friday night but seemed somewhat tired in the second half in the game Saturday night. And again ,it has a lot to do with the physical endurance that a boy has. Some boys can play three games a day and never seemed tired where others are made to wear down in just with one game a day. I remember that in high school, our practices were much harder than the games we played in.

Rowan Co has a nice team . They had a very effective defense. I agree they made a great effort. Clark Co just didn't come to play. I wish Rowan Co the best in their region .I think they have a great chance in winning the 16th region. A half second is a very short time and by the time you catch the ball and bend your knees to jump to shoot time should be expired even before the shot was taken.

To charge three dollars to park in a mud hole was a joke.
