Yezzir they were! That red on red w the yellow numbers (outlined in white) really popped, too.

It's always good to see when "the better team wins".

Their helmets back up until the mid-late 90's before they went to this were the best (not that these are a good look). But Bullitt East used to have yellow instead of the vegas good look. With that they had white helmets with red masks. Along with that they had a red/yellow stripe (yellow middle, red on the outside) & EAST written in some cool, curisive script on the side.

Boone. I THINK. Chuck Smith was the one that brought it to Boyle when he took the job in '92. Boone had it before I believe.

He left to take a High School D.C. Position in Alabama. Solid senior group for them returning next year in some talent and numbers (7-8 of them will be 4 year starters bt Jaggers and Hatmaker's tenures). After that? The numbers really dip. Rural-county school. Ride the waves.

Good shot there. It is; I'll get a pic. Coach Gay obviously did a lot in his time at Adair from 2011-2015, and one of them was they more or less became the Oregon Ducks of KYHSFB. Lol I think his last year they had 16 uniform combinations.

The "oversized" logo was just a new thing the last couple years. I'll see if I can find it from 2011-2014. Another cool part about Adair's helmet is the stripe; you can't see it, but their helmet strip turns into the head of a spear on the front (or maybe back of the helmet)

Red and Black makes for one of the sharpest looks out there.

Navy style (one of their alternate helmets; they kind of coined this look 2-3 years ago) mixed with their traditional "LSU" look. I like it. I'm good with the panther; like LSU and their outdated tiger head on their helmets...there is a traditional element there I'm good with.

Elizabethtown has one of the best without question in my opinion. Paducah Tilghman also. Corbin and add Pikeville to that list as well (turfed out where it joins in with their football field). Campbellsville High School has a great venue as well. Their stadium is old concrete based and good sized. Like Pikeville, their outfield is the football field. In terms of stadium seating alone; I don't know that there are three out there across the state that are any bigger

Two power house basketball programs. Two powerhouse football programs. Eleven combined basketball/football kids on both teams. Half of the top 8 scorers for both are football basketball kids. Love it. But, Go Purples. Family on my side and my wife's who play football, basketball and/or baseball for BGHS. Hate it I can't be there today; probably tomorrow if they win.

I guarantee it was because he thought they had a foul to give. Or so I hope. Which, even if they did; I'm not sure why he'd have done it unless he knew they didn't have a timeout left, so in order for them all to know what Coach Drew was shouting out defensively for that all to get communicated right with the break that the foul WOULD have given them (in his mind)...he fouled.

Kid just made a mistake. None of us have ever been on a stage like that; Lord knows I wouldn't be exempt from having a brain fart like that looking back when I was 20-21 (and, I played all through college-(football) ). Agreed on the shot choice from 30 feet. But, we are all seeing with x-ray vision right now.
