Listening to this game online and according to the announcers Trace Young is not on the bench he is in the bleachers and Gavin Root is on the bench in street clothes.

Wait, so they're not playing against John in the final? Did they play against E'town? While I love competitive first-round games in the region, I don't think anybody wants to see North playing Bardstown or Adair in the first round.

NM, just looked it up. Four players were out for tonight's game against E'town, including starters Root and Young. "Not meeting the team's expectations" was listed as the reason in the News-Enterprise. Not sure yet if that extends to the district title game.

Trace Young, Gavin Root and about 2 other reserves suspended....out of respect for the kids involved might not be appropriate to divulge why. Gavin will be back tomorrow for District Champ. Trace got a ten day suspension. Just a crazy scene in the gym last night

A couple family members in the Elizabethtown area have informed me as well that Young is out for ten days for the same reason that he was dismissed from Huntington Prep. I hadn't heard when Root would return, thanks for informing us.

 

When does the ten day suspension start? Could it possibly put him out for the 5th regional tournament?

When Mason has this happens, everybody says Mason is out of Control and the coach has lost all control of his team. Posters act like this only happens at Mason and there are five pages of posts. This won't happen here. Players are suspended all the time with alot of teams.

Just a reminder to folks about our rules...not saying there have been any violations at this point, but I still would suggest that folks review our Terms of Service in the case that they need a refresher.

Had some "technical difficulties"....lol with my account so I had to create a new one. I'm gonna come off as a Trojan hater due to my love for the Dogs but many in the area know that Coach has long since lost control of this team. Jackson and Young are notorious for skipping practices for days at a time. They are extremely talented from 1 to about 7 deep so it might not catch up to them til region play. Pitre, McFarland, Cooper are vastly underrated.

I probably should just close down BGP and not comment on this thread. I want to but I don't know if I can skirt the gray area of the rules without getting myself into trouble. I'd love to say a lot.
