North shot the eyes out of it. Petre fouling out late really took its toll on them (expected).

Kids rally. I was at tonights game, and also at John's region football final against Shelby County when they went into the game DOWN three of their best players, then found themselves DOWN 17 points at half only to roar back and score 31 UNANSWERED to WIN.

In times like those; it's sometimes addition by subtraction.

This generation as a whole, and kids from BOTH of these schools catch a lot of crap (in football and basketball), but it's amazing to watch them when they truly pull together.

Great, great game tonight. Both groups of fans should be proud of the young men playing & their coaches. North looked like they hadn't missed a beat, and John found themselves down almost all (if not all until the final seconds) of the game..... I think it was even 12-14 points LATE in the 3rd quarter.

Whoever draws either of these squads may run them off the court; stranger things have happened (just ask Hopkins Central who beat Dawson Springs by almost 40 and 27 earlier in the year; only to be ousted by them in the 1st round of district play)..but, I wouldn't want to see either of them right now (North being down players or not).

Will they both be back for first game of region?

Will they both be back for first game of region?

I can't comment on that; even if I knew (which I don't)..it's not my place to say.

This is going to be a very interesting 5th Region tournament.

North Hardin shot lights out tonight. And what we found out is Roger McFarland is the real deal. It wouldn't be wise to see this score and take anything away from it other than it was a rivalry game and North Hardins kids played their butts off. Hats off to both schools...great high school bball game.

I seen MacFarlane this past summer with Louisville Magic. Tony Jackson and Trace Young are good but MacFarlane will play at a bigger school than either of them in college. I agree he is the real deal.

Does all this make Adair's prospects of winning the region very likely?

With the draw they just got it no doubt up's their chances.

Weren't they already very likely?

Weren't they already very likely?

I'm not from that region but with a 1 loss record I assume they were. One of those wins was over North Hardin at Central Hardin.

North shot 10 of 13 from behind the arc....defense or not that's almost unheard of...with back up players to boot. Just one of those rivalry games thats hard to explain.

Bottom side of the region bracket is absolutely stacked.

Midway thru 2nd quarter, LaRue County led 21-12.

Entering the fourth quarter, North Hardin leads 34-28.

LaRue County scored 21 points in first 12 minutes, 7 points in next 12.

North Hardin scored 12 points in first 12 minutes, 22 points in next 12.
