Should Districts be Seeded?
panther fan replied to mcraycraft's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Not the issue. If you do not seed, the regular season becomes meaningless. For example, if you have two teams that are 25-5 and two that are 5-25, and you do a blind draw with the two 25 win teams in the semifinals, a 5-25 teams gets rewarded with a berth in the regional tournament. A couple of bad regular season games well offsets a poor team getting rewarded by luck. JMO -

Looks like LCA in the 11th gets a cakewalk to the semifinals -
The Franklin County schools, as well as Frankfort, for once and for all should be moved into the 8th.

It must be just that difficult for a FC person to admit they got outplayed. In all honesty, FC should be 0-2 in the district. And if "FC didn't come to play", how can you not be ready to play your crosstown rival? -

If he is so unaccurately described, how can one put Ausbury in the same sentence with James Madison and NKU? Exactly...however, Ausbury is a good fit for him. It is refreshing to see a kid pick a school that fits his talent level and will get playing time. -

Contrary to what you might think, I just tell it like I see it. My intention is not to bring people down and if it is taken negative then that is out of my control. My point is that he is limited and even though he probably will play at the next level, he will need to find the right fit to suit his skills....which is a set shooter.....and a good one. He does need to be more consistent. Final stats are always misleading. Best of luck to him -

He hasn't signed because 6'1 one dimensional streaky shooting guards are a dime a dozen. If he improves his ball handling and passing he could play on the next level but not D2 -

P.L. Dunbar Head Coach Position

I would assume that the next coach would need head coaching experience to lead Dunbar out of the funk they seem to be in. -

200+ posts on the Grant Co job...as I have previously stated, am I missing something? They are, have not been, nor ever will be a threat to touch Rupp's floor. -
No jealousy. :ohbrother: Just stating fact. It amazes me the people that think how good all of these kids are when in fact they are not. These kids continue to keep getting talked up when in reality this is not the case. In Setty's case, he could be much better if he were more coachable but at the same time, he wouldn't get a sniff in the Mid South yet people think he can play at a higher level than SIU? Maybe if these kids would not get so overhyped, they would actually play at a level where they can play instead of coming home after a year.
