Frankfort played well last night. They got hot early from the outside. Did a good job of beating defenders of the dribble. IMO Franklin County could get into any kind of groove last night on offense or defense.

 

Panthers get their first district win in 3 years. Looks like the 41st is wide open this year.

FHS Just simply outplayed FC last night. They took good shots, handled the ball well in the 4th quarter and also in the 4th were something like 14 for 15 from the free throw line. Congratulations Panthers.

Great win for Coach Tony Wise and the Frankfort squad. Coach Wise has done a great job overachieving with the small number of students in Frankfort Independant. If this team is hitting shots, they are very dangerous.

FC simply did not come ready to play..........maybe they thought it was a "sure-thing"??? I will agree the 41st District is more evenly matched this year, but this game was more about FC's poor showing than it was about Frankfort High having the better team. I look forward to the next meeting.

You would be correct about FCHS not playing well. But don't fool yourself to think this FCHS team is so far above FHS or any other team in the district this year.

It must be just that difficult for a FC person to admit they got outplayed. In all honesty, FC should be 0-2 in the district. And if "FC didn't come to play", how can you not be ready to play your crosstown rival?

You probably need to look at the number of seniors on Frankfort's Squad...they are anything but young!
