Good for him.:thumb:

Seems early to commit especially before the summer.

With that said, assuming you mean the SIU in Carbondale , he's going to a great b-ball community.

Excellent! Just goes to to show you that colleges seem to select players that don't pull the stats in some cases.

Always great to see a Kentucky kid bound for college.

Probably a smart decision. Congrats to the kid. :thumb:

Isnt that the Salukis?

Yes.

That's what he's saying on Facebook. Congratulations to Treg.:thumb:

I don't believe this at all. Trevor Setty was going to Oklahoma State and play for Travis Ford too and ended up taking the Maysville pipeline to Pikeville, look for Treg to follow, that is unless Wells gets the Morehead job if Tyndall leaves.:thumb::popcorn:

:confused:wow

I have to agree...I was trying to think of something quick-witted, but all I can muster up is: wow.

Congratulations to this young man. S. Illinois has a tremendous program and is well respected. Hope to see him playing in March Madness in the near future. Great accomplishment.

Trevor was going to Ok st but didn't do his NCAA clearinghouse which messed it all up. He could of waited for all of the stuff to be done(which would of called for him to sit out another year) but he instead decided to go to Pikeville because he wanted to play right away. He hadn't been on the court since the 08 championship game at this point so he was itching to play. As a matter of fact he averaged 13 points a game at Pikeville and was their second leading scorer this year. He keeps proving people like you wrong!

As for Treg he will be on his way to Sourthern Illinois tomorrow and look for him to sign during the early signing period. He is very excited for the opportunity and recruiting analysts like Evan Daniels and Jody Demling have already commented on what a great pickup he is for Southern Illinois. Treg would have probably picked up bigger offers this summer but he feels right at home at Southern Illinois, look for him to shine there! :notworthy:

Open mouth insert foot!!!!!!

I don't understand what you are accomplishing by saying what you said. Why can't you just be happy for the kid. In a situation like this if you don't have anything positive to say, it's best to say nothing!

Here is a 17 year old kid that has the opportunity to continue his passion for basketball and get a free education.

All I have to say is, Congratulations to Treg, don't pay attention to the childish adults that get on here and try to belittle you or your accomplishments.

Good luck in Carbondale.:thumb:
